Sadly speaking there are longer permanent bendies on Service 61. But that doesn't mean they stop serving 61 forever, just no longer that frequent anymore.
According to what I know, the route of 806 has been extended and hence require more bendies now, thus having to transfer bendies from other services to serve 806.

Glad that there are no more bendies on 61. 61 frequency became better with more SDs. More than half of 61 route is not so high, putting bendies on the roads are a waste of space on the roads and bus stops.

Come and go, Service 67's bendies are always really really busy especially during the peak hours!

TIB1135X: One of the hardworking AMDEP 67 buses. I'm curious about the front rims though.
A lot of times when I wanted to board Service 67 they are never empty, especially in a standard rigid. Bendies are surely able to solve these problems, though not all. Overall, Service 67 is a crucial service for many people in Singapore. Bendies are important, hopefully SMRT will consider using WAB bendies.
After all, deploying 2 rigids at the same time especially peak hours is a ridiculous idea. (You might as well deploy 2 bendies at the same time. They will still end up crowded.)

Anyways, I'm also quite a fan of bendies. I still can remember the time when I saw one.
The first one I saw was TIB1019Z on 854. The first one I took was TIB1200R on 854.
1st time taking it, I chiong to the rear axle

As someone living in the East (or SBS's territory), I have liked the bendies since I don't take them often except SBS998Y and SBS999U lol. Imagine the fun you could have as a child when riding at the back part of the bendy bus when it turns.

The very first time I took a bendy was eons back (I can't remember the rego but it was a MK1) on 365 (now 945) at Bukit Batok. There was also a period of time where (as a kid), I liked sitting on the rail in the centre of the bendy bus at the pivoting point. So much fun when the bus starts to turn

Glad that many of you guys are bendy buses supporters.
Happened to find this photo at Public Transport Hub, that was when it proved to me that not all O405G Volgrens have their dressing rims retained.
TIB1197S: One of the Volgren bus with dressing rims removed, most likely when EDS is changed.
If I'm not wrong some of the Hispano Mk 1 O405Gs don't have dressing rims as well. I think two of them are TIB882D and TIB903C.
Note: Buses will hardly receive their original dressing rims back once they are removed.
What are your views? Do you refer bendies with dressing rims or those without dressing rims like many of them found in AMDEP?

Current SMRT bendies are given privileges which the other standard rigids don't have. Everyone should notice by now that almost all the bendies are enjoying new orange EDS, commonly seen ones are Mobitec and Gorba ones. Except some of the Mk 2s from WLDEP, which are now waiting for new Mobitec EDS I think.
A question to ponder: Why give bendies new EDS first, rather than the other standard rigids?

Poyan have high loading too. Put them on Poyan services better.
