TIBS era before 2004, that time no need to refurbish anything yet cos the hispanos/DAF/Scania L113CRL were not that old yet
During TIBS era, new services were introduced like 857,962,965,966,969,989..

SMRT refurnishments are worse as they are not properly and fully done.
Back of the seats and articulated joint walls are not cleaned. Some of the window sills are not cleaned. Just change the seat covers and put a fresh coat of paint. Somemore some of these fresh coat of paint are peeling off. I wonder what kind of paint they using. Some after the refurnishing, the air con became worse.
Good they finally refurnish but half baked effort. CACs are the worst even after refurnishing.

Refurbish also use cheapskate contractor mah.What to do everytime say bus don't make profits but spend unnecessary on their stupid unreliable trains all d time.They kena screw big time by the train dept.Bus profits all go cover train loss.While I was in smrtb last time there was a time when I debate at a staff meeting over smrt management emphasis on bus dont make profits.I told them all old buses ardy got return of investment and 4-5 years ago where they got buy more newer buses beside the OCs??Then I told them svc like 67,106,169,172,187,188,189,190 etc all high load all d time where got not making money??I smell fishy there..They very funny train make a loss bus made profit but everyone also take less bonus but business got separate department wtf

I see that SMRT always want to try to be different all the time instead of being practical and down the earth.
Then why not in future, just buy MIC buses, like Yutong, Zhongtong, Higer, Sunlong, Kinglong, etc to replace the old fleets in future? Or just go back to the basics, go for Japanese like Hino and Nissans?

Smrt upper level is like snake they dun put a food on the table and we as public should pressure this kind of public service provider.At least SBST listen to public and the result more and more newer buses..SBST style to staff you dun like what you're doing then resign.
Last time TIBS time tire use Michelin and Dunlop but now duh Gajah Tunggal from Indonesia sial not surprised if they use China ones in future on their Citaros.Last time use Mobil/Idemitsu for lubricants nw use made in Malaysia one low grade fuck big time sia.Wonder if their train staff got mindset public no choice still must take SMRT trains and yes disaster happens right in their faces.
Hope SBST or like someone mentioned here WT Tong Tar Bedok Transport can take over. Really. SMRT is screwed up. With horrible waiting time, lousy buses. I have to admit even the "crappy" 1101 KUBs are even better than some of their bendies... Would love to see their buses in new livery.

I beg for SMRT to transfer services 61, 67, 75, 77, 106, 167, 169, 171, 172, 173, 176, 177, 178, 180, 184, 187, 188, 189 and 190 back to SBST.

Compare their OC500LEs with SBST's KUBs. OCs interior falling apart, so much litter, as compared to SBST's maintained KUBs, as well as clean interior. Haiz.

SBST KUBs depends on the depot. SLBP and BNDEP are the worst. AMDEP and BRBP's KUBs are good...

If you noticed, HGDEP's KUB's rims are in fact, still pretty shiny. Especially those TRG ones you see commonly on the road.

If you notice about the brakes, when the driver is driving at high speed, a KUB stops faster than a citaro.

I prefer more on Svc 67 to transfer back to SBST. Replace with KUBs, Citaros and Wrights!
