160/ 170 also got JC students who are M'sians...
Sg Kadut got a lot of M'sian workers...
I think when DTL opens, sekali 170 also got biz... OLs taking 170 to Bt Panjang take DTL to MBFC area...
also now school holiday, lots of kids gather go take 170 to JB for nom nom... I always see kids buying donuts or cakes back...
hahahaha
also 170 is macham airport buses these days...
Got a number of ang moh backpack travellers take 170 from Larkin to Singapore... And they take all the way to Ban San hor...
Even the kids at NJC, NYGH, Hwa Chong want to go Bugis also only have 170 to take...
Simi go Malaysia...
Is there height restriction at Upper Aljunied Road? I haven't seen a DD on 100, 135 or 155, though each of them have good # of pax.

135 got Ex DD Perm.
Think the historic trees along Upp aljunied there leh,100 & 135 justify for DDs but not for 155.
155 dun need DD
I ever did a check at Eunos - Telok Kurau sector, which is 155's heaviest load sector.
that 228 also dunno how many SIM students are actually M'sian.. every morning take 170 to 7th Mile one...
Then why aren't there any DD for 100 - coz the load is quite heavy during peak hours. Deploying 2 Volve 9TL would be a good idea for morning and evening peak.
need to do proper analysis
eg passenger density per km and adjust for the frequency and distance of the trip for ffair comparisons

Upp Aljunied Rd's tree
Any case, trees are under NParks.. They've their reasons onto the Henderson issue as well

not going to be fair
say 190, 700 & 960, long dist, freq is good..
Wheras say 27 Sengkang - Tampines isn't that as long in dist
168 170 179 190 969

I agree. Peak hour all these buses pack like sardines
Normally those bus services with ''A'' or ''B'' schemes has high loadings.
168, on the other hand, travels on the expressway all the way from Woodlands so it is impossible to implement ''A'' and ''B'' scheme on it.
Actually 43 they can put the ''A'' scheme to cover up Punggol-NEX and transfer the 4 DDs used on it to other services. Always see a 43 DD with the top empty and bottom half-full, even during peak hours, top half-full, bottom half-full...
It's a waste.
It can be rather used it to ultilize other services like 74/147 since both have high loadings.
74, is even higher...
They can transfer all 4 DDs into 74 and it replaces SBS1970U, SBS2677K and 2 other Batch 2 Vo3x.
I've saw the capacity of Vo3x that Batch 1 = 131, Batch 2 = 130, Batch 3 = 139, more than WEG Batch 2B's 133. So they need to replace the Batch 2 Vo3x.
BBDEP also needs to do something about their fleet. Putting SDs in 74 is just like making the pessagers more agitated at waiting for another bus.
Actually is 74e even there 4 a reason? Always see it speeding past bus stops with no pessagers on board -_-
969 seriously need more bendies. Morning peak hours reach Chong Pang bus stop full already. Pity those taking from Northpoint and Khatib MRT. They always have to wait for the next bus and then have to stand all the way untill Tampines
858 need more buses
23,87 and 161 will be better if full fleet DDs like 65 and 168
170's loading is crazy during the weekends and public holidays
Btw, 174 don't have DDs untill 2003/2004. Why ah? No wonder it used the Superlong bus

155 cannot use DDs because of the roads along Joo Chiat area.
