Add on sv36's problem can be solved by adding another 2 buses and run sv36B during weekday peak and full day weekend.
For sv190, evening peak already have downtrip from YMCA to CCK and it should be extended to weekends as well, from late afternoon to end of service.
sv74,147 should have their SDs removed and take the DDs from sv43.
sv43 DDs are a waste of precious resources as there is heavy duplication from sv76, furthermore the load is one direction from Buangkok twds SGN peak...
Everyday i see sv43 DD, only a quarter full, watmore now LO3X running extra for sv76 during peak periods...

from what i observe 190 will have downroutes every single day from YMCA to CCK, usually evening onwards all the way till end of operating hours

36B can run on weekend. No pt buses all to be inside PTB 2.
As for 190, I sometimes realised very difficult to get the timing right. The worst is seeing the tendency of buses overtaking to pick up the Tong Teck Bldg crowd...
Ever saw 190 bendies forming up to turn right to Scotts Rd on the 1st lane.. Bus ends up on 2rd lane aft the turn.. Pretty dangerous
anyway... 190 is seriously erratic as heck... I've done a check...
Worst is I've to say Tibs's insistence on bendies... If there's any 190 buses at RTC bus stop in the evening, it's a good 4 - 5 mins turnaround time of waiting...
3rd bus can't do anything. Strangely still like that even if buses are speeding on PIE at 70 - 80km/hr..

Anyway the bunching occurs os *cape building stretching to os Takashimaya as there is rampant illegal parking and too many cars there delaying sv190 and the rest of the buses using this road...

Yup within a span of an hour one fine Saturday I observed that about 4 O405s had downrouted from YMCA towards CCK. If you are lucky then you might get something like a DAF or Hino :x

Actually I did a check for the Orchard area.. it's a bottleneck.. the source of the jam is from Bideford Rd.
So once the bus can clear the curved junction, it's more or less all clear alrdy...
The illegal parking tat one can still get to move...
i mean i dun understand what is RTC...

Took sv167, BC din bother to queue up,went to the side where cars turn to Bideford Rd, was much faster...

sv143 used to have loading issues on weekends but now there are simply too many sv143 DDs thrown in and there is always 2 of them together, 2nd bus virtually empty.
2 weeks back, saw 3 sv143[2 WEG IIs, i CDGE] together, 2nd,3rd bus empty

Sv 43 uses only 4 DD, hence I think it is okay to keep it that way to clear the heavy loads between Punggol and SGN. I agree though 74 and 147 should get more DDs and SDs should be removed from these routes.
I think one route where DDs are not optimized well is 132 / 165 and some can be shifted from 132 to 147 and 74.
Any idea why there is no DD plying on 130 anymore? Earlier there were a couple. It seemed to have a pretty good peak hour load.

132's loading quite high. That's why 132 have only 3 SDs, 15 DDs
130,135,136 used to have perm DDs in the past.
