How many more you think the service will need when there are 5 Wrights?

I feel 240 deserves more DDs compared to 243. 243 frequency is at least well monitored at Boon Lay but 240 at Lakeside has huge crowd and yet only < 40% fleet DD.

Which 243? 243G or 243W. Right now DDs are only on 243W. I wonder why coz at Boon Lay the queues of both are similar, W is not longer than G. There should be 2 on 243G and 3 on 243W.
243G cannot use DD due to tight turns to a particular bus stop. But has any DD ever cameod on 243G before?

Yes..
240 to be exact has only 4 DDs in its fleet of 14. I feel it needs at least 3 more DDs added. Look at 163, within 2 months 3 DDs have been added to it, and 2 to 86 but somehow with Boon Lay, I feel SBS already feels there are too many DDs, hence are not adding more DDs to its routes there.

Most of its DDs are taken by JIS oredi... SLBP even have to trade away its KUBs for DDs, so u can imaging how much SBST is doing for SLBP

If the demand is there, it makes sense to trade for more DDs for KUBs, even if majority of the fleet is DDs in SLBP. At the end, it is revenue and passenger comfort that counts.
Compare the loading of 225 and 240. 240 wins hands down!!

For 123, the pm off peak crowd can be quite high during the dismissal time for Radin Mas Pri and St Theresa Convent students in between Bt Purmei Avenue and Tiong Bahru MRT.

Actually Boon Lay is one of the interchanges with the highest number of DDs...

That's true. But routes like 240, 242 need more DDs even if the interchange has highest number of DDs. And if you see, most of the DDs are very well utilized with minimum of 70pax.
