we've a lot of roads, but still the buses only ply the MAIN arterial roads. So like this on strict standards, we've lots of bus duplications...
and... spend some time on the MRT station to station demand... some connections the demand isn't really high in reality... like Tanah Merah...
so far this station e bulk demand is more like an Airport shuttle transfer stop, and to buses heading to Bedok South or TMFT.
Tenah Merah pax has more demand than those connections u mentioned above.

131 cannot use DDs because of Pei Koi Estate (near Farrer Park) and Henderson Road.
I believe 139 high load is Dhoby Ghaut to Toa Payoh (as SBSt27 pointed out)
64 is near Queenstown, load gets lesser on Havelock road, picks up again from Dhoby Ghaut to Macpherson.

130 used to be DDs till early this year if I am not wrong. I think there were at least 4 DDs on 130 in Feb.
93 still has a DD but only morning shift.

Okay - sorry about it then. I thought 130 had DDs in the recent past.
Please comment on the loading of 111 if anyone knows precisely.
My observation in the last week has been that 111 loading has dropped a lot.
Morning peak: Queenstown to Orchard road (60 pax)
Evening peak: The bus does not have even more than 50 pax.
Do correct me if I am wrong.
For 111, the loading on Friday and Saturday nights from city towards Ghim Moh is quite high. Let's not forget that this service ply orchard road and marina centre which is the main shopping belt in sg. I can't comment on other timings for 111 though.
Also, for 123, the Friday evening load from Jalan Bukit Merah to Orchard Road is also quite high either.
Interested in week day loading. But thanks for the info.

exception of 93, the rest has QoS 10 mins peak hr freq... I've ever seen abt 90% loading on 35 even w/ QoS..
113? 15 mins freq 95%???

If I am not wrong, 93 has only crossover DD in morning peak. In the evening, there is no DD on 93.
I saw VO3X on 93 couple of days ago in the afternoon.
And its not the first time I have seen such a thing happen. There's DDs from time to time at night also.
And since 93 was the 2nd last cross-country VO2X service, that shouldn't be surprising.

Is it the case of deploying a stand by DD on 93? Actually, 93 has a unique route and mirrors very few other buses on long distances - I would encourage SBS to may be try more DD trips on this route.
But with CCL I can understand that the load on 93 must have significantly dropped.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:Yes sir - but the load at Bugis, Bedok, Tanah Marah, Loyong, Changi is quite a bit. You see standing all through from Bugis to Loyong on 2 in the evening and other way round in the morning.
OPPOSITE nia.
Morning is towards Changi a lot of ppl leh. KUB filled until the door sio. Then to NBR direction DD near empty. SBS no logic. This is seen at Tanah Merah.
Reason? Simple: DUPLICATION. ppl all take MRT straight down to CBD take BUS for wat? Other way round: Bedok crowds go Changi Village. No MRT. Take svc 2 lah! That explains this situation loh...

Route 2 loading in morning.
Changi Village Terminal -- New Bridge Terminal
Changi Village - Bedok, Paya Laber - China Town (80% of its route)
On the opposite side, loading from Tanah Merah to Changi Village.

Then WHY are 70% of the buses to NBR in Tanah merah in the morning near empty?

Route 2 does not go to North Bedok Road.
