quite shocking debut DD on 109... wrights somemore =D
noticed more & more service getting DD during peak hrs or even normal times
not surprised if one day got another surprise, where services like 109 got DD debut
btw, so far does 109 got DD cameo ? like VO3x or tridents ? just like what happen to 163.. lol

None trident and VO3x cameos so far. Dun think 109 will make V03x cameos unless its EDS VO3x cameos. Dun tink hgdep will make dd destos for 109.

not exactly. 52's DD timing coincides the peak of peak demand for NP during AM Peak. even with full SD fleet and using fleet addition won't completely solve the problem. People will still aim that timing so that they can reach their workplace or school on time.
that is the reason why 54 109 136 163 225 get DD.

sometimes PM peak in NTU, you see some bus drivers purposely bunch, overtake here and there......
then, leave NTU for Boon Lay Int with <40% seated passengers. what's the point?
maybe just not to be late or create tailback at bus stops in NTU. -

Select service 52 at basic service. Choose which direction you're heading to. Choose the stops and it will show you the timings for weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
For service 52, the only non-WAB bus is Double-Decks (SBS9384J and SBS9429P)
So, Look for the NON-WAB timings
That's some good analysis. Do you know why 3, 63, 100 has no DDs on it?

I took a 109 DD and it had around 70-75 pax. At other times, when I have seen it as a SD, there might be like 50 pax on it (14 standees). Wonder, how the pax increase suddenly when a DD is deployed, or may be it has something to do with timing.
Also, someone earlier insisted that Serangoon Int cannot take DDs. I guess that claim does not hold true anymore.

Not sure. Svc 3's demand is quite high, combination of former 294 and Townlink 357
63 used to have NAC DDs in the past if i'm not wrong

100 not sureOk la. I thought it was something to do with height restriction. If they can have 2 DDs on 109, i am sure they can have 2 each on 3, 63 and 100 too.

The DDs can be removedm while introducing 43A.
43A plies the same route all the way till NEX.
+ Fleet addition with more SDs.
Then no more DDs needed. -

plan a scheduling first.. to ensure downroute appears in between...

Actually the DDs on 43 and 45 should give to services like 7,74,291, etc.Hope that the Yishun temporary and future interchange can accomodate double deckers. 39 needs double deckers during peak hours and nights.

It doesn't look like they are shifting anytime soon. It still remain normal as of last week.
Just ignore him with his DD-fantasies. When time comes if they find a land yes they will shift.

Yes, Yishun Interchange was designed for TIBS. 171 was the only SBS service back then. Does 171 have double decks in the past ???

If 39 can loop at Yishun, they can still use DDs. Give the suggestion to SBST.
