Double Deckers for SMRT

SBST did not even take a 2nd look at bendies after the trial.
And between the 2 operators, it should be SBST that has the ability to spread its bus type.
Evidently DDs were a superior choice to bendies despite them having an option to have more bus types.
SMRT could have stuck to bendies.
They didn't now.
They are still undecided between DD or bendy. But the mere fact that DDs are now in the equation is unequivocal evidence that bendies are a very inadequete choice.
Very very very VERY clearly.
Bendies failed.
How much clearer do you want it to be?
Like I had mentioned months ago, did you guys honestly think the COI's "brief" negative mention of bendies would go un-noticed?

So what would be the argument?
SMRT stuck to bendies because WDL, YIS, SBW have small roads and high pop density, but SBST area has no small roads and no crowd?

Whoever buys that argument should reflect on what I have mentioned a few pages ago.

Bendies can be reduced but cannot be ditched! They are equally important as double deckers!

Need me say the crisscrossing movement at the Temp BPJ BT.. all because of the bendies... in fact that kind of parking arrangement just to fit 11 bendies is crazy.. They forgot the space they need to turn...

Should bendies be continued to use in SMRT?
Should double deckers be used in SMRT?
At this rate, I do think I will have to go another round of debate here, which I won't want to.
Whether SMRT will go for double deckers and ditch bendies, it is their choice.
If bendies are really to be ditched, good for those who wanted so. We won't say anything.
If bendies are still used, same thing, good for those who wanted so.
As for double deckers, that will be perhaps more unpredictable.
The winner can only be decided once SMRT's choice is revealed. But again, there is no honour in doing so just to win this god damn debate.
Now it's just too early for the results to appear, dun forget the O405G still have a few more years to go, of which the Habits are not refurbished. Nuff said.

So this Jurong West road wide so use ADD... Bt Batok road wide use bendy.. so trunk svs that crosses into diff new towns how??? how to decide n on what grounds? can you universalise your actions?

You should consider the majority but also must consider the minority.

Also... before going anything further... Look into the shoes of an engineer trying to design bus infrastructure.. with 1 town using this, 1 town using that, and some bus rts plying this town happen to use another bus type... how to design? Next, how to allocate parking bay... Need me to dig BPJ Temp BT's case now? Micro... Then your have better not end up study engineering in future...

Work for LTA, implement your ideas from here in real life. See if they really work out as you planned as written in Sgforums

It should be GML, was spotted as GML assembly plant a few months ago.
