It would be far more entertaining if all the insults traded were one-liners.

Go take a look at the SMRT Citaro design… The simi bar at the PIW area… That one ar.. all it takes is for bus to e-brake, ppl slip to the front, hit the bar then they know how dangerous that bar actually is…. Creepy Citaro… Dangerous handle installed…
And admit it.. Citaro can have dangerous configuration…
And go take a look at the Khatib Stn bus stop shelter for Sv 811 & 860…. New perm one somemore…
the bus stop shelter ...
the bus stops for 804/806 are also about that length and 804/806 has full fleet bendies, what's wrong with bus stop "only for 12m buses"?

Then they’ve no idea how to answer then whack alrdy… But this kind goes to show, they’ve no idea how to answer anything at all.. later start hurling vulgarity and say that so n so is offensive.. so who’s offensive in the first place w/ vulgarity?
and it’s the same thinking.. Saying only AMK wat… So if MRT rosak at AMK again, to get scolded by people again? I’ll say, stubborn ppl who never change aft any expert’s COI report are the real extremist… Cos they never want to read, analyse and learn… If it’s not extremeist or stubborn ppl, then what that is?
Seriously I’ve never heard of people wanting to do the same old mistake again, because as good as never learn from it…
Not surprising, can’t say a thing hurl vulgarity.. Tell u, also hurl vulgarity… Stubborn people… How old only scold vulgarity…
Dun need to pot calling kettle black..
Anyway, like it or not, there’s some things people dun have to tell you at all… Just look and listen for things around you and figure it out…
can't the BC drive into AMK Bus Interchange and turn back out?
do you think DD is a solution? i can say it is not.
and i don't want people scolding anyone.

Can I see the full page and report for this specifications???
This is just some statistics from nowhere. And it may mean either DD or bendies, unless I can see that they are interested in both.

Sorry boy. Unless he can provide the proof of the full report, else that is just something plucked out from nowhere to show as a proof.
And little India can support DDs. If 67, 960 use DDs, SMRT won't be so cham now.
100 bendies can give them 100 SDs and 100 DDs or 200 DDs which both gives far higher capacity than just 100 bendies.
If SMRT still want to insist getting bendies, then I'm really disappointed with them.

stop being so naive
yes they interested in both, if that pleases u

Then please show me the part that they are interested in both.
Calling for tender does not mean they will get both. If either one gives a better offer, they choose one, unless they explicitly says they want both.

It could also mean that SMRT gets only bendies... I DONT want that to happen. I prefer they get both - DDs for trunk and bendies for feeder. Good comfortable journey for people in the north and west.

If SMRT is getting e.g. 50 bendies, then what for??? Won't it be better, easier and more cost effective for them to operate a standard fleet of 12m buses instead???
Cost, manpower, space, etc which they should consider too.

What if they just decide to get bendies and no DDs??? They might think bendies is very good for feeder and might stick with the current model.
Is LTA going to stop them??? If not, we arguing over here is not going to serve any purpose.

sbs1000u: not convenient to show it in public...pm me....

nothing to argue.. smrt is just looking for option of higher capacities buses.. n the first bus will only be on the road from 2014

No, I still think less number of bendies is MUCH BETTER than having too many single rigids.
Recognise the purpose of bendies lah, seriously.

Well, I support SMRT continue using bendies, in fact most of us do.
But we also have no problems if they want to consider double deckers.
Bendies + Single Rigids + Double Deckers =

Then SBS1000U's probably going REALLY CRAZY

Too bad for you. People want better frequencies, govt have limited land space and wants the flexibility to operate more bus routes. So more 12m buses to use and no more bendies would be much PRACTICAL AND BETTER.
