  Anyone can tell me what's the power output and torque of the MKIV Striders? Just took 1989S and I've never experienced such amazing acceleration. The China female BC was flooring the accelerator and it was the first time I've seen the bus shift up only at 2300rpm. Hit 60km/h within less than 8 seconds and 40km/h within like 5!

  Seems like HGDEP is better at handling deployments than AMDEP.

  Yes, but 161 is better to be partial AMDEP. Last time 161 received new VSO and CDGE under AMDEP..

  What a joke, depots don't determine how much buses a route should get, its done by the HQ, and if I'm running a bus company, I would reduce the amount of buses on the route to an efficient yet appropriate number.

  But if 86 goes to HGDEP it will get downgraded with MKIV. And there will be crappy Citaros on 86 too.

  At least MKIVs are better than KUBs. I don't mind seeing Citaros on 86..

  86 sunday evening load KUB oso cannot tahan, leave alone CITAROS/MKIV...

  HGDEP oso wun hv enuff WAB to supply WAB svc 86.

  245bhp. Not sure about torque though. MK4 DM and Striders with ZF Gearbox sounds best when it is floored and it acceleates quite fast.

  Just want to know that if the Volvo B10TL Super Olympians that had the gearbox changed have the ZF5HP590(like SBS9888Y) instead on the ZF4HP500. I taken ZF VSOs and it really sound like it has 5 gears instead of 4.

  Anyways why SBS changed the gearbox of some VSOs? Is the Voith giving problems or is it just too slow in acceleration. If it is the 2nd case, why didn't SBS change all the Voith on VSOs to ZF?

  MKIV cannot,citaro can.

  But still wan citaros?

  Should deploy DDs if go to HGDEP, AMDEP can keep the buses while HGDEP gets minority control of Svc86 and the best is to kick in 4-5 wrights.

  Huh,how come no such bus??? I just pass thru AMDEP yesterday and saw a SBS with left front side covered with plastic.It is parked quite far(about 4~5 rows of parking lots from the fence faced SMRT AMDEP) from the fence.Actually,I had saw that bus since about 1 month ago till yesterday i still saw it there >.< But I can't see the number plate and cannot take photo also,so only can describe by words XP

  I've seen this bus before,with another rego of coruse.

  So all i can tell you this is not a demonstrator,because i've seen at least 2 other units.
