I have observed it. Yes, the queue looks very long because the queue stand itself is shorter at Bishan Int say compared to Jurong East or Boon Lay.
I have counted 5 consecutive buses on 410W during evening peak. The queue length is around 40-50 pax, but seems longer. I would say most buses filled with around 50 pax before it left with a few leftover, not because the bus didnt have place, but they know the next bus is in a few minutes and want a seat.
But I agree - when you see the queue - you think it is very long because of the way it winds, but if you actually count - it is around 40-50 pax.

It is like majority of AMDEP SMRT buses are parked at interchanges...hmm..no washing of buses and security concerns....
Basically split buses is additional buses to cater for peak hour crowd in the morning and evening.

Except for 61,67,106,851,985 other or half of the fleets park at Yishun,Sembawang and Lor 1 Geylang. They must off svc to depot for Refuelling bus washing and coin box opening before they go back to onp interchanges respectively
So that means feeder buses have to go all the way back to their depots at around 1+am and come bk to their respective ONP venues?

Yeah regardless of what buses. For 961 Amdep split that park at Lor 1 during split break they go to depot after afternoon peak and park at depot.Only the Am/Pm buses park at Lor 1

Yah... Probably because the int is bloody small...
When did 1913K become a perm training bus??
Is there any example of buses that return to normal svc from TRG?
Service 119 route extention is included in the 40 new bus routes or not?

SBS2614S,SBS466R and SBS516E.But 516E went back to perm training again if i am not wrong and eventually got deregged..And if i rmb correctly,913S also was a perm training bus for a short while b4 it came back to rev svc again.
I was hoping this SMB1H back to normal svc.At least svc like 811,857,961,963,965,966 and 980 need it.

Not too sure for SMRT, cause seems like whatever they put to TRG never came back.
For SBST, other than what 'merczrox' mentioned, perhaps of more relevance is the KUBs. 8237H & 8247D went to TRG from HG 27 & AM 21 respectively some time ago. Then they came back out again later on revenue service on HG 64 & BR 145 respectively.
Likewise for 6109H which went to TRG with 6108K IIRC. 6108K is still under TRG, but 6109H later x-ferred to BR and now perm 131.
It just occured to me that HG probably didn't take 8563R to TRG from 36 because of the mileage or because they badly needed a Euro V KUB to train. But rather because 8563R, not sure if it occured to anyone), has a Euro IV KUB dashboard display (there's a slight diff with the positioning of the info display screen) although it has a Euro V KUB-spec body, engine & gearbox. Ditto for those first few Euro V KUBs from the 856x series, they have the Euro IV KUB dashboard display and not the Euro V KUB's.
My bad i just saw TIB1007H and 1008E parking at Lor 1 at 0230hrs just now

I saw this SMB1H training at Yishun last wednesday. And my goodness,it's rear exterior is brown in colour.Looks damn terrible and ugly..At 1st when i saw it's rear from far,i thought that it had an ad pasted on it..Looks so unsightly. Its so sad to see the 1st OC in such a condition..

I once mistook it with KJDEP 985's DAF.

Who said that. But it is "interchangeable". Both of them controlled by BBDEP plus their fleets is JB-regged. Can cameo d
