Yes, No doubt the mess at BPJ Petir road is unavoidable, But it isn't enough to warrant a ban.

4 such bus stops in a row...If there's 2 bendy buses appearing together, how much travelling time incur as extras?

Because you've been living in Tibs area for too long...Imagine Tibs tookover NE corridor, tookover Svs like 97, 106, 107, 111, 147 together w/ 82 & 865 and starts using bendies... Along Upp S'goon Rd during peak hrs. 97, 147's past freq was like 4 mins per bus, 111 was 8 mins.
I didn't say jam free.. But there has to be some sort of movement at every traffic cycle.
Which is why 971E skips the 270 bus stop for good.

Official PR??? Who do you think the heck you are??? Need an official to address your concerns??? You think everything have to disclosed for you here???
Decisions are already up to make. Highly likely they will be banned in future when Singapore bus fleets expands. The most you can expect is there will be very limited bendies bought in future. But it's pointless for SMRT anyway.
But LTA don't like long queues of buses which cause delays, and now they want to add 800 more buses to the total bus fleet. Situations are already bad now in places with many of such long buses, what happens with 800 buses more??? Everyday every trip, I am delayed because of these bendies queues and jamming the bus stops and bus interchanges. Worse some even are half full but hog twice the space as compared to a normal bus. Same goes to depots. I can understand how much these buses have dragged down SMRT efficiency all these years.
Use your brain and think. You still insist to accept the truth, that's your problem.

And I am asking for official facts and figures (I do accept PRs as one of it), or any aricles that bendies aren't allowed here, And that response wasn't needed.
It seems to me that you still live under a tent. If you are delayed because of the bendies jamming up the streets, Then get a transport on your own and stop complaining here.

6+am jam is seriously atrocious.
I definitely cannot take 151 during that period. Taking that = death sentence.
After 8 30am is fine.

Did SBST gave an official statement when the last midibuses, Dennis Darts, had retired???
Did SBST told the public that they sold their only 2 bendies to other countries???
Did SBST told anyone the last day of the last non aircon single deckers???
Did LTA gave an official statement saying the reasons why no more CNG buses are purchased???
Did NTU/SBST/LTA ever give you a date on when the electric bus is going to be on public service or why hasn't it been on service for such a long time???
Did SBST ever posted anything about the failed trial of the MAN demo bus in their website???
Did SBST even told you why they choose Wright bus over Enviro 500 bodies for the new B9TLs???
Did SBS/LTA even say why the superlong bus plan and trial had failed to replace all single deckers in the 90s and why SBS did not trial the bi-articulated bus???
Did SMRT even give a damn about the deregistered Nissan Diesels and annouce to the public that it is gone???
Did SMRT even say that they had rebuilt a burnt down bendy in the newspapers???
Unless it's about new things or upcoming new projects, else LTA and the bus companies won't say too much to the public.
Who do you think you are??? Head of LTA or CEO of ComfortDelgro/SMRT??? Must tell you everything under the sun...

That's why lots of complains about bendies.And from the way other BCs drive, etc, excessive horning, trying to overtake, cutting into their lane, in bus stops or in bus interchanges, can tell that even BCs are fed up with these buses sometimes, as they hog and jam and delay their schedules for no reason.

Fellow BCs clearly aren't happy with bendies....
I took a bus the other day and when he got stuck behind a bendy (the only bus in front), he had to keep waiting for that bus to leave before he can allow pax to board or alight.
At one point he got fed up and went TSK.
Not to mention WRI is a big big mess now.
