I believe it's didn't look out.
The video was captured by an oboard car camera posted on CNA's FB page.
From Initial looks,it seems as if the bus driver is really at fault.

RIP.
I would reckon its the BC's fault...
It's also a warning for us pedestrians to not take the green light for granted and having a good situational awareness.........
I would also take it as a lesson as a driver to be extra cautious at pedestrian crossings.
All too often, drivers will be making sure of many things, eg. light in favour or not, where's the kerb, any other person nearby etc and then fail to look at what appears to be so obvious on hindsight...when its too late.
And slow =/= safe driving.

the tv news reported wrongly. they found the victim's daughter's NTUC card on the eldery lady, hence the mistake about being a 33 year old woman (as confirmed by the son-in-law on another forum).

A 66-year-old woman who was hit by a bus, then dragged under it for nearly half a minute, was pronounced dead on the spot in a horrific traffic accident that occurred at 11.20am on Tuesday.
The accident took place at the junction of Sengkang East Way and Compassvale Road.
The woman was crossing the road when she was hit by SBS Transit Bus Service 159, which was making a right turn at the junction. The woman was then dragged for about half a minute more under the bus before other motorists alerted the bus driver.
Residents of the nearby Housing Board (HDB) estate witnessed the tragedy. IT technician Mr Terence Lim, 31, recalled the sounds made by the woman's body as it was dragged under the bus. 'It all happened so quickly, I didn't even hear her scream,' he said.
