Toyota crashed into a parked bus (TIB964B) near the Singapore Flyer bus terminal. Female passenger (the driver's wife) of the Toyota died. Car first crashed into a lorry that was coming out from a construction site, then into the stationary bus. The male driver, who is suspected of drink-driving, is seen frantically trying to open the rear door of his car
that's the price to pay for drink driving..
but in this case, unfortunately the wrong person paid the price..
anyway, my deepest condolences to the female pax..
So did the police come and arrest the driver in the end? Deepest condolence to his wife.
Cheers.
The woman didnt survive as the left side of the car almost went underneath the bus.
I look at the guy trying his best to save his wife.... i feel really emo..

Not sure if he was arrested, TP had done a breath analyzer test on the man prior to comforting him
This the one I saw today, so the body cover is a lady, thought a small boy in terms of size, really sad...RIP.
Really, if you drink, dun drive. If you drive and drive and die alone still ok, cos I felt that he/she deserved it. But if you are the one left unhurt but have cost death to others, and even your love ones, he/she will sure live in regret for life. 2 cents worth.
Cheers.
Yeah man, I don't understand why everyone is upset at the fact that his wife lost her life.
I mean look, if it was the truck or bus had moved and the driver did nothing wrong, then yeah we should feel emo.
But heck, this idiot drank and drive. So seriously, he deserved it that his wife died. I know I might sound lacking in compassion, but honestly, there's no need to pity such retards. When he's sober enough some day, he will realise the pain of holding onto the steering wheel and killing his wife with his own stupidity.
might just spot this sign at the RTA site a day or two later..

Don't need lah. Ask that idiot, everything will come out already. Like he self-directed one siah.
But then again, Oops i forgot he was drunk. Probably he thought that he was driving in his dreamland till he crashed.
by asking the driver is not enough..
somebody might just happen to be nearby & witnessed it happening so eye-witnesses are very impt in these type of incidents..

more likely he knows road blocks always 12 - 5am so wait till 7+am go home....
When a truck come out from a construction site, there will be a "Traffic Marshal" to stop the main road traffic, this man is speeding along[also drunk],so cause the accident itself...blame only himself.
Should have take a taxi or hire a private limo to drive you home.
My office is nearby; every time I cross the junction to the bus stop, my heart skips a bit as I witness drivers speeding towards the ECP direction, then buses will either swing out of bus bays to commence their service, or slow down to park after service. During peak hours, it is even worse as buses jam up the traffic while waiting to park. Some buses arealso seen waiting at the bus stop in front of Pan Pacific Hotel, waiting for an empty slot. Then situation is made worst when lorries start turning out of the construction site. I hope that the authorities will build a bus terminal with space under the flyover so as to reduce any possible hazards on this heavily used road. That being said, motorists need to exercise extra caution while driving along this stretch of road.
I've seen cars in worse shape but not this kind of detail.
Front axle broken, rear rim spokes broken. Rear light and bumper nowhere to be seen. Panels of door peeled open, protective rod sticking out. Even the door handle and petrol flap flew somewhere.
There would have been others dead if the bus had been in service, or if one of the workers came out to guide the lorry out.
He fkingly deserved it, guilt to his life forever
fcking driver
drink driving , now caused his wife death
suffer in prison for life man
