STOMPer Teo Boon Kiat was concerned to see this man dashed across the road and stood on the divider, just to take photo of a bus at Marine Parade on March 21.
The STOMPer wrote:
"On March 21, 2012, I spotted this man in his early 20s in business wear dashing across the road to the thin divider while I was crossing the bridge at Marine Parade in the afternoon.
"As I was curious about why he had dashed across, I observed him from the bridge and saw him hold a DSLR camera which was pointed towards the direction of the bus stop.
"I noticed another three to four people on the bridge taking photos in the same direction too. Hence, I communicated with the people on the bridge and they told me that they were taking photos of the bus.
"When I asked them if the man down there was taking photos of the bus as well, they replied, 'Yes.'
"While he was taking photos, there was heavy traffic that was in very close proximity to him (as shown in the photos).
"He was spotted crossing back to the divider to take photos of the same bus, service 966 after the service loop, at the same side of the fence that he was at.
"What if he slips and falls, or loses his balance and falls onto the road?
"From my observations, the man seemed to be very focused on taking the photos of the SMRT bus that he did not seem to be bothered about his safety.
"If the divider is wider, there may be no problem if he watches out for his safety. He can also use the bridge like how the other three to four people did for safety's sake!"
Lol
i wonder if is it the same idiot i almost knocked down once as he dashed across the road to take a picture of a bus...
i think Darwin has an award in store for him in the near future

Murphy's law dictates that sooner or later, something bad will happen.
Seriously, moderation is the key.. is it worth risking your lives by breaking traffic rules to do such a thing? What image does it portray?
