Sorry but I had already mentioned in my post that I don't know anything about 24A.
It's just a hoax.If SMRT really buy Citaro Gs then I will donate $50 to SMB228X.Its more likely they will trial DDs I think

It is only a possibility and just a rumour from other bus fans, but still whether SMRT wants to receive WAB bendies or not, you will know in 1 or 2 years' time.

I think he is thinking more of importing Citaros than importing bendies. Any small rumour of Singapore importing Citaros he will make it really really BIG, even though I don't see the need to exaggerate so much.
Dream on SMRT wanna buy Citaro Gs...
It seems to me that either they import Citaro Gs or they don't import bendies at all...
Do you have any idea how much does CBU Citaro Gs cost per unit? Its more expensive than the E500 integral bus.Common sense they just buy MAN NG363 chassis and appoint cheaper bodybuild co to fit the body they desire..If they are allowed to have limited bendy in future

The difference in price between the 6.4-litre OM 906 hLA and the 12-litre OM 457 hLA on the Citaro 12m rigid bus is insignificant. Also, the Citaro G is available only with the OM 457 hLA (horizontal) or OM 457 LA (vertical) engines. Mercedes-Benz obviously decided that the 6.4-litre engine was inadequate to power such a heavy bus and indeed I agree with them.

Yup. Just to add on, the engine footprint at the last row of the Citaro G with Keisei Bus in Makuhari is the same as our 6.4-litre Citaro (4 seats with the most right radiator taking up the same footprint) even though it packs a 12-litre engine.

Mercedes-Benz actually recommends the OM 457 hLA with 354 PS/1600 Nm as the engine of choice for operators who are after an articulated bus with the best driveability for urban conditions, with or without air conditioning. This is the engine output selected for the Keisei units. This engine develops very high torque at low engine speeds, meaning that driver fatigue is minimised i.e. less effort required to merge into traffic, keep up with traffic, climb grades, and so on.
Agreed,Articulate and Double Deckers Need higher torque output..No wonder HK 2axles B9TL use the option 310hp/1400nm instead of standard 260/1100nm
OMFG BIS POST XCLUSIVE PHOTO MAN LION CITY G AT BUKIT PANJANG!!! DOUBLE DOUBLE CONFIRMED SMRT BUY NEW WAB BENDY!!!
Can the mods please close this thread since:
1. The information is not true at all.
2. To prevent this troublemaker creating unnecessary antics here based on this thread.
May I know why the mods allow such mayhem to happen again and again without stopping him? I have been other forums for other hobbies and they will stop and take action against such people.

The original author was just joking. He even said how he edited it:
"Joey Foo I cloned the back of this bus, perspective correct it into the rear "section", then grayscale, distorted, and edited the reflections at the back."
Anyways I hope that SMRT can get WAB bendies someday, I really don't mind if it is just a small fleet, at least bendies don't be part of SG's history I am happy enough already.
He doesn't even know between edited and the truth yet howling like a stray dog.Dun just you knew BIS or a few drivers make u knew everything. We seniors here even knew who is the person responsible for deployment also never huhaa like u
