Long waiting time for Service 858

  Anyone of you here got problem waiting for 858 before like almost 30 mins at WRI before 1 bus came?

  I waited almost 30 mins just for an 858. 4 903s and 2 969s stopped at the berth just now.

  Last time the same thing happened but that time 5 903s and 2 969s came before an 858 came.

  Is this today? If so, what time was it? There was a major jam this morning on TPE and 858 would be affected.

  Yes.I waited 858 from 2.50 to 3.20pm today then an 858 came.

  I had once waited for 858 for 38 minutes at Sembawang MRT and 3 858 buses come!

  One night, I waited 858 at jln kayu. THE BUS TOOK BLOODY LONG TO COME!!!!! I had waited for 43 MINUTES and the bloody bus STILL haven't come. Finally, my long-waited CGA bound bus came. Jam-packed wif ppl. WTF???!!!! I wait bloody long u tell me take this lanjiao packed OC?! Some more it's NOT BUNCH UP. Disappointed sia...

  Poor planning by SMRT. I believe that there are also alternative ways to get to destinations by transferring from one bus to another.

  Either that or they need to add some fleets. Even 14 buses for AM-PM shift can keep us waiting for 30 minutes during off-peak hr

  withdraw svc 858 so that you guys will stop complaining about svc 858 when it already got good frequency.

  my view on svc 858 :

  the route is very long, despite the fact that SMRT purposely makes svc 858 to make big loops in Sembawang.

  A commuter like me from Jalan Kayu will prefer to take svc 168 to get to WRI than taking 858 as it will go to yishun, sembawang, wasting more time..

  I think the only solution to 858's problem is to implement svc 858A for the highest demand sectors, and svc 858 to cut short ?

  maybe introduce svc 860 to CGA?

  cause 858 this route very unreasonable and long.

  But actually I had find out the reason why 858 has long waiting time currently.

  It's due to short of 5 buses!!! The MANs must perm 858 quickly!!!

  I think 858 should have a fleet of 25 - 30 buses with a mixture of O405s, OCs and MANs.

  got a lot of ppl go back to WL from CGA would rather take 858 to jalan kayu, then change 168 there, instead of taking 858 straight up and making big loops round yishun and sembawang.

  858 have multiple Citaros cameoes before. I quite like the Citaro on 858.

  TPE cannot have langa happening one.

  Got one time got langa at TPE... and guess what? I waited for more than 1 hour for a 161 to come... dunno why 168 can come but 161 cant
