One of the best solutions for airport services is to follow Europe. Some if not most countries have this standard EDS for buses that are going to the airport, their display is as follow:
1/4 of the EDS displays a picture of an aeroplane, centralised the airport name and the remaining 1/4 of the EDS display the route no., for an example no. 34 could display as follows:
CHANGI AIRPORT 34
Alternatively, well you could at SMRT, svc 966 as another possibly.966 MARINE PARADE
(LOOP)What i feel is that SBST and SMRT should have some standard for EDS displays, like for an example for SBST, some have the word INT after it's destination, an example is Clementi INT for 282 citaro eds, but the others don't. Same for 970 & 965, it displays BT PANJANG AND SENGKANG INT respectively, well the other services will display as follows: BUKIT PANJANG SENGKANG

Glad that someone else is noticing this. Some routes have "INT" or "CTRL" at the back.of the destinations, and the town link and feeder services do not have similar displays as well.. -

The Euro IV's version of the latest EDS format has unbolded EDS service numbers (the super thin ones) btw. 8162P 8164J 8252M all have the new formats, but unbolded EDS numbers.
53's Citaros all have the new EDS AFAIK today, except for 6012C which is still using the Changi Airport - Loop Service - Bishan format.
To be honest, this latest version is better looking than the previous update that showed only destination each time.
