SBST metallic square side destos

Since the remaining Volvo MK3s are going off soon, it is very likely that the usage of metallic side destos are very soon walking into history. All other buses like the Merc 0405s (SBST) and the Dennis Darts are totally gone.
Hence would like to start this topic for discussions over the metallic side destos used by SBST.
Feel free to post any pics of metallic side destos here if u have.

Most likely SBST will keep them as backups in case the EDSes fail on them..

Add on 60 and 139 too.
All these services continue to use the red/white plates due to their different terminating points at certain bus stops in order to avoid confusions, eg. Woodlands Centre Rd, Serangoon Garden Way, St Michaels Estate, Bedok Reservoir Road (one directional road along Blk 6xx) and Bt Purmei Ave.

Some things that will go into history soon for SBST: - Usage of side square metallic destos. - Usage of non air con buses - Usage of plastic destos - Era for Volvo B10M buses, one of the biggest fleet in SBS history.

Plastic destos not that soon yet I hope, the VSOs are still using the destos. Hadn't see any other LECIP B10TLs other than 9822L yet.
Then for the B10Ms, the 2789X that batch still has like 7 more years max. So still a long way too.

B10M will still be represented by 160, 170 mostly..
rest will take a back seat except maybe Sv 92, 200.

The Volvo Super Olympians will most likely have their destination destos changed to EDS. After that, might be the B10BLE CNG buses. -
Saw a 182 square side desto before.. on a Mk4,after the O405s retired.

no matter what, destos will nvr be ended, in case of EDS failure.
Although it will be a rare chance of seeing them after the non-WAB buses retire...

Last Jan, saw SBS9820S on 168 using square desto for the side & rear desto for the front haha

The services can just use red/white numbered destos at the front.
