Double deckers passing by Hougang St 21

  Hi, i would like to ask, is it normal to see dds passing by hougang st 21? i saw SBS7321 ytd passing by hougang st 21 and i saw a vo with svc 81 desto passing by hougang st 21 fc.

  In the past there are DDs along Hougang St 21. Not sure about current.

  In the past, DDs used to ply 119's route. After the removal of DDs on svc 119, the sight of DDs is not seen till now. So i guess it's rare?

  Not forgetting there used to be a busy bus interchange there with quite a bit of DD's.

  Last time when Hougang South interchange was still in operations, many VO2xes and Mercedes Benz O305s passed by there as Hougang feeders.

  Those were the heydays...

  Not just VO2X, there's also LO2X and LA. Even the Volvo B10MD operated on 111 was there too. It used to be a crowded place.

  321 322 326 327 328 used to have MB O305 and VO2x in the past.

  And definitely not to forget the sea of MK2s which were there at that time!! It really was the land of MK2s followed by the ARBP/BBDEP controlled areas back then in my opinion.

  I've taken before LA on 328, and it broke down at the bus-stop inside Woodbridge Hospital, in the end took 325 out, where 325 happen to deploy LO2X. Wow can't remember that was how long ago liao, but it's part of my childhood.
