SMB208D on 700 recently, being complaint about speeding and trying to overtake an oil trailer on PIE...
Bus was already vibrating like mad and BC speedup very close to the front trailer and suddenly overtake... Some pax thought he's going to crash into the lorry... After overtaking, BC slowed down to normal speed causing the lorry driver to overtake SMB208D and wind down the window to negotiate with the BC using hand signs... BC got angry trying his luck to overtake the lorry again, but this time 1 passenger went up to calm the BC down as he told him there were 20+ pax onboard, please mind their safety... BC smack hard on the steering wheel since he couldn't do anything furthur... SMRT is now investigating the matter... -
SMRT should discipline these kind of drivers,Wanna overtake go far2,Probably the bus driver purposely overtook it so close that made the trucker piss him off.Ive also overtook several other vehicles without issues.Being a bus driver he should have patience and passengers safety in mind first

and I don't even think he's that risking to do this. Use your brain to think more then comment on the situation. I've seen far worst one where somebody stands on the road, just behind a bus that's dropping load at bus stop. Plus, it's a upward slope...

Don't forget also, that kid not SBS Transit staff, why is he even allowed there. SBS Transit staff injured, company can take responsiblity. Random civilian, warned not to cross bus park already, will get fined, now get caught posing behind a bus, talk cock bus off or not no use, still dangerous. -

behind the bus, obviously no safety concept. He think he God isit any cockster can just ram behind that bus trap him in between. there's no "less safe, more safe" when you stand behind one big giant chunck metal

No "less safe, more safe"? Do you even understand what's the point of having divider along a In-slope road or even at bus stop bay? If you can recall the incident where 1 SMRT bus skidded and almost roll off the road to KJE. Without the divider, I can tell u those swey ones sure get the hit...
And there are more of this, the most dangerous "stunt" I've seen was done by non other than the group of people hanging out with this Mark Chua. While I was on the overhead bridge, was so shocked that 2 of them simply dash across the road and 1 almost get knocked down by a motorbike. U can go ask around...just for a cameo and they risk their life.

Why are some supposedly older bus fans over concerned about other people safety , everyone safety is their OWN and PERSONAL buisness weather or not they bother to take that into aaccount be it shooting pics or jaywalking. It is not another person Kay po buisness to ridicule others about safety

It's not over concerned or what, it's just some precaution/words of advice to you from them. Perhaps they experienced before or what, it's better to share around.
But honestly, it's really none of my business
Your life, your responsibility. It's the job of your parents to educate you with safety traffic rules. And my pov is this, that if you're risking your life, so be it, just don't get knocked down. That's their life, I can't stop them, neither can anyone do(even TP). -
