Bro. I believe you have been seeing 518 at off-peak hours and at the wrong stretch of road where the crowds are not picking up. If you see 518 in the morning at 7+am, there is a reason why there is a 518A trip and 518 trip just a few minutes apart at Pasir Ris towards Suntec.

Haha i guess u dont need to get so excited over this really trivial matters..I have also seen many equally funny mistakes made by the BCs.A few i clearly remember is a Wright which was off svc to bndep showing svc 31 EDS.Svc 31 is still ok cuz maybe in the future got chance of Wrights being deployed on it..But what the BC did next,he keyed in the full svc 32's EDS and continued all the way to bndep with the svc 32 EDS on.
Another one was an off svc Wright at Tamp Int preparing to leave to bndep when the BC keyed in svc 113A's full route details and just drove out with the svc 113A EDS still on.
And i saw 8379G last month also with the old svc 53 EDS..So i guess its not only the Citaro with the old EDS. -
502A & 518A should be DD!

Anyway I think it might happen sooner or later, from the way they have been replacing the Mk3/4s with the 3 Citaros. Probably not full-day slot though. And cause I dont think there's no more height restrictions along 518's route now after Marina has been developed over the years?

i feel 518 can capture more people on the return route if commuters are convinced they can have a definite seat with DDs deployed..
even for myself, i only take 518 from far east plaza.
all other stops, i wouldnt risk it. -

The way they threw buses to 985 was like... too late...
By 1 time, lots of 985 appearing within 15 mins block...

with eds anything is possible. i've personally seen a CDGE off service showing 34 > Changi Airport. -

I know Premium kinda has different rules from 518 cause of the no-standee rule for Premium? But still, I don't think anyone will want to pay $2 or more to board 518 and stand all the way from Marina all the way to Pasir Ris.
