Possibly it will be a new short trip service, since the previous 30A was between Bedok & Fort Rd.
TIB996J has been retrofitted with Mobitec EDS as of 30 January 2012.

Sometimes other buses did not play the 'doors are closing' announcement.

Yes, that's what I say, just that I forgot to add in a 'short trip'.
I was just referring to him mistakening my and SBS9644J's posts with bus captains spamming destos, which is obviously referring to buses that is not mentioned in SBS9644J's post. He only said berths.
Hang on a minute...I thought service 30 berths are end-on berths?

OCs only, when the SL uses the button that closes both the doors at the same time, there willl be no doors closing announcement.

Right. The SL must have pressed the 'Master' button located at the driver's left below the exit button to close both doors and the 'doors are closing' announcement doesn't sound. I saw happen a few times onboard SMB110B and 111Z.
