Wow, so many B10TLs with EDS now.
But why SBS9810X needs to reinstall again???
9803S, with rear EDS installed.

We all don't know whether SBS9810X will have reinstallation of EDS.
1) SBS9810X may not come back alive.
2) SBS9810X may be back alive but if it has minor damage it won't require reinstallation of EDS.

What happened to it??? Met an accident???

Or is it awaiting for spare parts/repair? The last time I took SBS9810X it was in a quite bad condition. The whole bus creaks alot whenever the suspension in used (bus stops and when bus is turning). Also, when it went up on the hump at Tampines Int, the flooring on top of the rear axles kinda "bounced" up.

It was laid-up for unknown reasons.

Most likely it was laid up for a major overhaul.

If you don't know, then why post?
The post is just saying:
I know that I don't know.
Stop flooding the threads here with your replies seriously.
And the "problems" listed by SBS9C are "problems" that many VSOs have. The bodywork creaks (it makes Gemilang look titanium-ish), the seats can fall out if you pull hard enough, the suspension makes bonk bonk sounds, the wheel can fall off (9844Z), the floor boards can even warp when the bus moves.
But then I would pick the VSO over Tridents anytime.
Except....
When my mood says otherwise.

And get LECIP EDS!!!

Oh ok. I just hope that nothing regarding that fucking clone who use my name to create that account will be blown up.

It is common to most of the B10TLs since they are one of the first few low-floor buses introduced in SG.
But maybe, there is a high, VERY HIGH possibility that is is going under one of SBST's plan, the ''Experimental Mashups''.
Maybe brand new seats like SBS1975G.
Or brand new luxury interior [ SORRY NO CHANDELIERS ] or rearranged seating.
The reason why it is laid up for about a year is for the engineers and interior designers to complete a plan for the brand new interior. It may be installed with a rear EDS too.
Sorry but SBS9810X will NOT receive a CDGE body.
If 9810 goes for major repairs then it should be at Amdep cause Brbp can only do minor svcing just like Arbp to Bbdep.

How many times so many ppl tell him nicely also he still dont want to listen.Ppl ask why the bus was laid up,he can reply 'It was laid-up for unknown reasons'.Seriously how more retarded can his post get??Dunno just shut the fuck up la.Will die without posting isit??

We can already see that.
88's CDGE is under BRBP. And it's CDGE doesn't get reformatted until it was sent to AMDEP then back. That is the reason why AMDEP's CDGE got reformatted first then the BRBP's.
SBS9822L has already been fitted with rear eds. Also changed to black border frame for the front. Seems like the side eds fonts is as big as those ones for the newest weg batch. 9822L is adless as of today too.

Didn't see the rear of the bus, someone help check if it has the rear EDS installed? cause if it did, the hole would have been right at the 'Expedia' word on the rear ad of 9830M.
9830M is now adless already, 4 days after I first saw it had the new LECIP EDS. It has the rear EDS installed, confirmed today. No wonder they installed the EDS then, knowing that it would cut into the Expedia advert logo.

Hmm. Then what else will be the reason why BRBP took back SBS9810X??
SBS9816E is still without rear EDS as of 7 May. :) Surprising the hole at the upper deck has already been cut open and patched with a piece of metal, but no EDS installed yet.

there can be a million and one reasons why a bus is laid up. For this case it can be due awaiting for spare parts, or accident case. and its amdep that has control of the bus, not brbp.
