Miss those times... I remember SBS9800A perm 80,82 and 502, and cameo on 51 and 111
If 9888Y still in HGDEP, it will not get burnt.

IIRC SBS9888Y is not the cause of the fire...
SBS9837U is on 81 still with destos

Even though the rear of it has already been cut-out, ready for EDS installation...

Lol ya but it would have avoided the AMDEP fire if it were at HGDEP. But SBS9888Y was really a nice bus. It even has those aircon ducts which were the same as the Volvo B10M MK4s.

You mean the eyeball ducts or the rectangular ones like on DM3500s?

Why SBS 9810X Non-User lay up ?

Rectangular ones
Actually I took 9888Y just before the fire, and honestly it was in the worst condition amongst all the other VSO.
Probably because it was significantly older...but it also no longer had the performance compared to the time it was on 502....when it was still new-new on its second service.

You can blame 9163E for causing the deaths of
9174Z,9188J,9619H,9888Y and 7440T

I still love Leyland Olympians
Maybe can blame AMDEP ?

Sorry for off-topic, but which is the actual Leyland Olympian that caused the fire?

I think you misinterpreted his reply. I think he meant that 9809B had all the relevant EDS installed (front, side, upper rear), not missing anything like a missing rear EDS or something.

I strongly believe that SBS9810X is under some kind of major overhaul/repairs but not interior refubishments. As I said in page 6 it is the worst ever VSO I have taken. It has all of the problems that some VSO has all combined together, including floor boards that warped badly until theres a bit of "hump" at the part where the wheels are. Other than that, the windows gaskets seems to be cracked and damaged along with the side facing seats at the lower deck.

In this case, I think should be a major technical and interior overhaul. Probably body paneling and repainting too.

According to some info from a website which i forgot,9163E is to blame for the death of the other 5 DDs. 7440T is parking at its place and 9163E was not parking, but infront of it.9163E then start fire.7440T was the first to get infected by the fire.

hopefully it dosen't lose that special touch by replacing it's TM EDS. if not, it's just another 2779A..

I just dreamt of SBS2709C having LECIP EDS
But hopefully DM3500s gets installed with Transit Media EDS.
Missed seeing a DM3500 with EDS. Damn BBDEP, you should take SBS2703T.
