lol. I think Hougang will have to wait. In anyway, it is not under the PAP's ward. Definitely priority wont be given to them also..
Hougang Int is under Aljunied GRC rite?
Hougang was the last to be made known.
Actually, it's pretty going as per announced.
But seriously, w/ the mess at Boon Lay & Clementi, you really want?
Old interchanges are the best. Big, spacious and airy.

i believe the rush to replace with these ints are mainly to free up land space for other developments. Every sq/ft costs $????? and shopping malls and residentials can also be built on top of these new ints, hence earning much much more money!. that's why the new ints are so cramped up.
I care for the bus driver
I don't think they will be building any temp int for the HG one while the new one is being constructed..
they should be using the current HG int as a temp one instead..

Whether is it political or not, I guess we're not politicians, look at the practical aspects of it.
honestly speaking, i quite like the current Hougang Int. very big and spacious! :)
sometimes, finding a parking spot & waiting for other BCs to alight pax can be a prob..
that's when you'll see the "jam"..

Current interchange is in electoral district HG10, which was carved out of Hougang SMC and transferred to Aljunied GRC. Not that it makes any difference now, still under the same MP.

Hougang Int went to Aljunied Town Council the previous election round.
Just another gerrymandering episode. No big deal.

I don't.
It leaks and the there's the bus jamming problem there also. Hardly big and spacious at all with the need to walk one big round to get where I want.
And the design also ensures that whoever walks around the 165/153 and 51/151 area is guaranteed to get wet with a heavy enough rain.
