So far, there is no news of any new WAB services for SBST yet .... for the last few times, it seem like poster were put up quite early... this time round no news, but base on e-timetable, the following services should be declared as WAB services from 3rd Dec.
Sv 16
Sv 30
Sv 87
Sv 96
Sv 165
Sv 175
Sv83 and Sv101 might also be declared as WAB as well...
Someone mentioned in facebook that services 16 and all Bt Merah feeders will be declared WAB on 3 Dec.
Any news for service 163 to go WAB? (I am not starting a flame war here...)

sv272 should be WAB as well. Sv273/275 can easily convert to WAB as well...think the KUB from SLBP will be deploy on these bukit merah feeder as perm... just nice 7 KUB transfer over for Sv272/273/275..
no change of E-timetable for Sv163 in dec leh... so maybe next round in March 2012?

Hope so bah... Now that 855 going WAB which means the YCK / Upp Thomson stretch should be PIW accessible. More or less 163 can be declared WAB liao...
Looks like once after 96, 272, 273 goes WAB, BBDEP will start to lay up more MK3s.
Btw 87 and 165 dun have any ett. Info based on the BC's notice at respective interchanges?

ya... might be... have to slowly change into WAB service...
think some more MK3 are gone after taking in 7 kub from SLBP.
actually no e-timetable for sv16/30/87/165 , but still can see from e-timetable list (if u know where to look for it)...
I wont rule out of 282 284 285 gets WAB as well.. or even 243 403.Originally posted by lemon1974:ya... might be... have to slowly change into WAB service...

For the past few years, SBST always declare WAB status for some services on World Disability Day. I believe it will not be an exception this time round.
403's e-timetable changes from 03 Dec for Wkdays & Wkends. High time they swap to KUBs since the Mk3s 721D & 749A don't have much longer to live on alr (2 mths+). Hope they don't kope the KUBs from the PSR feeders again (like what they did with 354 with 8419A from 359). BN only have 4 SP KUBs, probably AM might transfer 2 KUBs over since they have 21 SP KUBs.
On another note, 401's Sunday's e-tt changes as well from 04 Dec. The Sat/PHs one no change though. Although 401 has been using KUBs lately anyway.
506's timetable also changes from 17 Dec for all Wkdays, Sat/Sun/PHs. Considering 506 still has 4 missing buses & 1 Mk3 still on (After the DM3500s left for JB services), with already 4 EEVs perm, they might get converted too to WAB soon.

Can i ask kindly where's the e-timetable list for those services without e-timetable yet? Just want to find out too.
Service 168?
sv401 has been using KUBs for more than 5months...
sometimes BC forget to take out PIX sticker...
ACx
I think Service 88 needs to get WAB status soon. The other services that received CDGE B9TLs from that period have all gone WAB status alr, like 2, 12, 14, 72, 76, 80 & 198. Even 151 has gone WAB, though its B9TLs were all second-hand.
88 is now as the only service iirc that got CDGE B9s from new and still not awarded WAB status yet. (i.e this excludes 241 and the numerous SLBP services which got the CDGE B9s second-hand from other services such as 143 & 174) 88 needs 15 buses to hit the min. quota, and now it has total of 14 CDGE B9s & KUBs. Just need one more WAB from somewhere. And furthermore, it still has those 3 LO3xs which could add onto the SP fleet soon.
If you say it's about the bus stops that 88 plys, then i guess 3 years + should be more than enough to refurbish those bus stops already.
Not forgetting 25 too.
Cheers.

I would classify 25 as half-half. 7476R 7478K 7479H were ex-AM 161 permers before 161 went to full HG. And 7444H 7483U those remaining B9s were stuck on 21 and other AM services as Spares for months before perm on 25. The 88 B9TLs 1st day out on the roads were already on Service 88. The days back then when new buses would appear on their new perms from the 1st day out on the roads, unlike now where the Wrights & Citaros would cameo cameo cameo then perm somewhere.
But yeaps, 25 needs 3 more WABs as well. It would be good to use 7888K from its current perm fleet if 25 is able to go WAB status soon.

any remaining restrictions on 25 and 88 that still prevent them from gaining WAB status?
17-12-11? That involves all Jurong East Int svs

I doubt there is any restrictions for the bus stops along 25's route now. From Bedok to Ubi sector, alot of WAB services such as 2, 7, 51 ply along the roads. So the bus stops must have been fully PIW-accessible. Then from Ubi down to Hougang, there's also 51 and the SD WAB services such as 24, 53, 109, plus the Wright-laden 87 which also passes by the same stretch from Ubi to Hougang, so should be the same case. Unless there's somewhere i missed out.
I'm not sure if there's still any restrictions for 88, but 88 passes by IMH anyway. It's still a hospital/medical facility, somehow.

Haha i know about that. But i was thinking they might just start WAB-status for 506 at the same time too, since 734S has only 2+ more months to live, and there's still 4 missing permers. Plus, the new Int confirm is PIW-accessible anyway right?
73 Full fleet KUB no WAB -.-'

But for the TPY Int, they haven't resolved the problem yet? It has been years, and unlike the Bedok Temp Int now, the TPY Int is permanent leh. They have to do something about it sooner or later?
by 2014. Toa Payoh will be the last int to be fully PIW friendly. It was in a LTA press releaseOriginally posted by SBS 9631X:But for the TPY Int, they haven't resolved the problem yet? Oh my bad, i didn't read about the press release. So means we have to wait until then?

Actually, I dun see any issues with the boarding areas for services 73, 157, 163 and 238 at Toa Payoh int. But then 142, 231G/W, 232, 235 can declare WAB? Please enlighten me.
For the rest of the Toa Payoh trunk services it is due to the fact that the parking berths do have problems...

tpy a/c int is built before LTA has plans for PIW facility for newly built a/c bus ints.
