Service 34 and 163 should get Citaros

And now i tell u: izzit resonable for a PIW to wait for a bus svc that isn't even WAB- certified yet?

Every part of 163's route had WAB services, maybe except Fernvale and Sengkang West Ave. I dun believe the bus stops are these areas were not WAB yet.
but well, Im glad that 6132 goes to 163! :) hope to see more citaros in 163! hahaha

SK west stops ARE WAB- friendly.
It's Yio Chu Kang Rd and Upp Thomson Road who's causing all the trouble.

I didn't say that. I merely doubted that based on my day-to-day experiences taking 163, which is not 24 hours of course.

yeah, it is troublesome for PIW to use MRT no matter what they say, but as I see it, it is nonetheless a price to pay for PIW to use public transport as much as the able-bodied ones try.

That is the reason why I emphasize 855. It also travels along this stretch of road together with 163.
If 855 can go WAB, 163 shouldn't be an issue anymore.

This morning i was on 951G, and i was shocked to find out tat in the morning, HALF THE BUS WAS FILLED WIF ELDERLY TO TPY!!!
I finally knew the logic: The elderly took 163 instead of 159 FOR ITS LOW-FLOOR BUSES. So if 159 isn't gettin'new buses soon, KUBs are VERY vital for 163.
And u noe wat?
an ah peh actually FELL while climbing the stairs of 951G.
So u can tell 163 by now.

If Citaros come in to perm 163 replacing any of the old buses, it is good enough. Whether if 8629K or 8675B returns or not it doesn't make any differences by then.

Ok, let me evaluate service 163's route from Sengkang to Toa Payoh:-
- YCK Road between Jln Kayu to AMK Ave 6: Parallel to 86 which is already WAB.
- YCK Road after AMK Ave 6 to Upp Thomson flyover: Parallel to 855 which is going to be WAB soon.
- Braddell Road from Upp Thomson flyover to Bishan Rd: Got 156 which is already WAB.
- Braddell Road from Bishan Rd to Lor 6 Toa Payoh: Got 57 and 59 which is already WAB.
- Lorong 4 Toa Payoh to interchange: Got 231G/W which is already WAB.
I believe that the bus stops from Sengkang int to Jln Kayu along Sengkang East/West Ave should be PIW friendly. -

Gosh, to these kids, buses are like girls. They love to ride new ones, the newer the better. Older ones should be avoided like the plague!
163 can get all the Citaros that the threadstarter wants. I just pray that Citaros NEVER get deployed perm on the services I take frequently. Strong aircon is a necessity for me.
Must be school holidays and school kids got nothing better to do...

yest waited for 7mins, citaro come, din board coz no seats n have to stand, if that was a MK III or MK IV, i would ve boarded n gotten a seat...
