so basically, SBS is neglecting the fact that 163 is in need and nvr do A BIT to help, except taking old shits from 83 ( and giving it new citaros too!!!)

If you don't like the buses on 163, you can always give me, and so many others who appreciate that there's even buses to pick us up.Oh and because we appreciate the new ones as well, we won't be giving you those also.
You can feedback to SBST to expedite the 2-car SBST LRT coming soon or even harass MP at hawker centre like Chee did, it would make you famous for your cause!

look at svc like 82 85 112 159 until now also dun have new buses to replace not even a kub or citaro cameo be4 ! compare to sv 163 is quite lucky already !

new=/=better... Look at the Citaros. Some of us (like me) as bus enthus may adore the Citaros for its fame in Europe, its stylish looks and probably its engine sound, but the public may find it differently... Last time on board 6013A, this uncle somehow kept ranting to me that the Citaros were "disgusting" and impractical, cos Citaro a/c sometimes cmi, while he said KUBs were much better... Cos got strong a/c... in fact, he was astonished when i told him that Citaro won bus of the year europe in 2007 and 2010... (maybe 2011 as well, acc to daimler) -

And the reasoning behind either side's conclusions:
1) Because the Citaro is a WAB bus, it definitely has to compromise on seating space to accomodate PIWs. Therefore its only a balance between PIW space and normal passenger space.
2) Who cares much about fuel efficiency rating, other than SBST/SMRT?
3) Even though the Citaro is stronger than the KUB, its not as strong as SMRTs' O405s.
4) The A/C on the Citaro needs work, while (in my opinion) the KUB's A/C is overdone.
5) The SBST Citaro (according to my friends) looks plain "disgusting" with its colour scheme and placements. On the other hand, they agree that the SMRT Citaros look plain sexy. Strangely enough, the KUB rated as the most "sexy" bus of them all, ahead of the OC.
Each side has their own perceptions on the bus and I think its just a matter of which features of each bus they prefer.

that SMRT OC doesnt care at all... i hope that Citaros are deployed on Sv82/85/112/159 rather than Sv163. can throw all the VO3x batch 1 DDs to Sv163 and put Sv163 at 20 mins frequency...

I DID NOT COMPLAIN NO WRIGHTSFor new buses on 163, I only care abt SD replacement, NOT DD REPLACEMENT. I am very content that a VO is actually running on 163. LEAVE ALONE EVEN A TRIDENT. A Wright? I WILL BE SUPER HAPPY. BUT I CAN LIVE WITHOUT WRIGHTS ON 163, unless if 163 started loading in DDs.
