Most important factor is whether HGDEP will want to deploy Citaros on 163 or not. Regardless of how many Citaros HGDEP take, if HGDEP still neglect service 163 from deploying Citaros by then, it still doesn't make any difference, right?

OT abit, some time back there was a Wright cameo on 163.

yeapp.. thats right.. if put citaro on 163, den the old bus go out.. confirm some will say.. aww man i miss the old bus plying 163..
it the the matter of life and death xD

I hope HGDEP will evenly spread out all their Citaros to every services, eapecially those services that are yet to get an upgrade. Instead of spamming them only on 101 and 109.

Look forward to see 804Z and 806T out soon. Hope these 2 gets replaced by either a Citaro or K230UB. No MK4s please.

I think you should hope that all depots spread out Citaros to every service then. As for 101 and 109, 101 is due to replacement, and 109 is due to WAB. 109 is reasonable to have a full WAB fleet currently, while the others with MK3 will not receive Citaros in order.

With your post I suspected something. Who are you? (No offence is taken)
is SBS8676Z a "sane" version of SMB128B?
I felt very pathetic for this place. Lock this topic please.

No...I think he might be the one whose number on the registration plate is 1/4 than that of the person you said since he mentioned about 163.

36 prolly not, look at the looping distance and the amount of break time, if any, when it returns to CGA. If Citaros go there, we would have "SBST's Chariots of Fire" next.

the amt of break time it receives at CGA might not be enough for the engine to cool... whereas for 518, at PSR, it has a longer break time... but anyways, its up to SBST whether they want to put Citaro on 36 or not...

I believe 518 is longer than 36.

Then explain why other WAB services like 43, 113 and 156 are not getting any Citaros to replace their remaining non-WABs? (43 used to have mass Citaros deployed 2 weeks ago but none were spotted lately). I believe 101 and 109 (plus some other Serangoon WAB services) are due to favoritism.
For services 27 and 34 they dun need any Citaros, the full fleet K230UBs are very good enough.
Originally posted by nfshp253:Anyway, how does the Citaro’s fuel consumption measure up to the KUBs? I saw that on 518, a Citaro was averaging 41.3L/100km. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, though I know my mum’s 1.7L car does 6.8L/100km. And Citaros seem to be overheating all the time, or at least that’s what the icon on the digital display on the dash seem to show from time to time.
That depends on how big the fuel tank in the Citaro is? If a full tank of fuel is enough to go the distance required & number of trips before the bus is due to refuel, i think it is still acceptable?
Originally posted by EW26 Lakeside:yes.. that the point brader.. like i say.. it need time to redeployment right?? one day the service will get the new bus .. correct or not brader?
see 1 of them saw EDS showed route 240.. confirm one day 240 get it.. be patient..

Let me rub it in further.
101 also has got far better frequency now, and its now practically full WAB with a couple of B10Ms now and then.
109's frequency has also improved to the point where I couldn't believe I was looking at the same miserable service that made me late for school back in 2006. And there's also plenty of WAB.
Edit: In before lock!
wah lau like that also can.. then i wan citaro to be given to 153 and 132 also leh

Agree to the max with both points! Was camping at SGN int to see how the flow like for the above 2 services and I myself is shocked to see how much it has improved. Finally i somehow can depend on 109 without worrying about it's sucky frequency.
Then again, this TS is such a troll. Forever whining about his beloved 34 & 163. If you're an "Adult" just stop whining and wait. 34 is just fine with KUB. It has more standing space than a Citaro. 163, somehow somewhat it will get a citaro. Stop whining like some 3 year old kid.
Like that also can ar.
If so, then why not redeploy all HGDEP Citaros to 158?
Or Citaros to 103?
Or possibly some Citaros for 159?
Or possibly 20 more Wrights for 147?
All under HGDEP what.
sv34 already full fleet KUB still not enough? seem like every HG service need new buses like that.... and the same issue of Sv163 getting KUB/Citaro/Wright again.... not sian ah? that time HGDEP no citaro/wrights complain... then deploy citaros/wright liao also not happy...
later on if HGDEP deploy citaro on Sv163, they also wont feel happy. will come complain why no wrights have been deployed as perm.. then they will continue to ask for Sv325/112/115/119/159 and so on and so for to be deployed with citaros/wrights etc etc..
really pity those stay in SMRT territory... SMRT buy new buses, here throw there throw.. put it perm on RWS8/531/852? instead of trying to make more services WAB.....
