M ar...
It's a semi express variant
I belive it's likely 9 or 10 buses to be dispatched
The very 1st time 179A operated on Sat was on 7 May 2011
1st papers on 18th Nov. Last papers on 2nd Dec.
& i am still awake studying.
wa piangz eh
Ended up the 1000 - 1300 slot became NTU > BNL... Int staff tell ppl take 179. 179A only for outbound.
I wonder did anyone along Pioneer Rd Nth gotta miss their bus.
I think it's all because the ops timing incl exam duration time i.e. 1000 - 1100. So they think bo lang liao
The ops timing is all planned to take care of the entire day's exam schedule.
Ends up SLBP play with everything. I'll say just, all the ops details is alrdy handled to PTC & NTU, by not operating the inbound and ppl all got late for exams, who's going to 'tar' all the problems?

erm.. did they really receive the exam timings from NTU?
The 3 slots planned has alrdy taken care of the exam schedules, which is why the 2nd slot can run from 1030 - 1300.. It's supposed to take care of those finishing exams by 12 noon and those going in for their papers at 1300.
1500 - 1630 to take care of clearing ppl aft afternoon paper.
The 3 slots is really planned for a good reason.
This is funny..
Tell ppl 1030 - 1300 is BNL > Hall 4 > BNL
Can cover up the BNL > Hall 4 details and insisting it's only downroute.
Actually if it's downroute, run to 1215 can alrdy... Most ppl would have left.. Run empty buses for what?
Eh
Somemore I guess it's rather SLBP that dunno.
How on earth would ppl bother to plan for buses onto 179A on a Sat and plan 3 time belts?
Anyway the 179A becomes 179 is true. Apparently a BC mentioned SLBP dispatcher didn't want to dispatch 179A in the afternoon anymore. But it ended up buses underoperated and big boarding mess at South Spine.
I had knew it by estimating 179's 3 min and its run time. Practically all buses dispatched to 179 in the evening.
But aft some channel, 179A returned. Apparently they didn't want to dispatch 179A in the afternoon had a diff reason from what I see (parking congestion at BNL).
This matter I dun wish to say anymore, but it's all because of this that's why for 1 time 241 even had dispatch problem.. Buses getting stucked at Pioneer on return leg.
