Thanks to all the illegal parking
Bus can't even turn at the old & new Punggol Rd bend.
Dun have TP stationed. Only those auxiliary officer stationed to shoo cars for VIP's car, tell ppl to park further up.
kns, further up is one lane per direction and it's so narrow.
Lucky 82 no longer plies there.
I think could partly be due to the reduced frequency of sv 84 as compared to the old sv 82; that's why more cars are parking there.
LTA should erect some big signs to warn motorists not to park there as public buses are making a u-turn. Its dangerous for the buses to reverse if they can't make a proper u-turn. LTA should also install CCTV cameras to catch motorists parking illegally there. No point getting traffic police there and then motorists play cat-and-mouse game; its useless and wasting resources!
Easier is to place cones n tapes.
Signboard no one cares one.
Here in Singapore, must have a thing call summon

Very well said. But i believe the lta wont do all this kind of good things.
give motorists a break la..
everything also want to summon
go to the beach, go to a park, also scared summon
haiyo.. no wonder IMH getting crowded nowadays!
for punggol road end.. the barricades not placed properly la..
and the PCG also another bunch of cyclops eye-powering away
also true la, north east residents seems to have a more bo-chup attitude
Not Punggol Rd End
That waterwalk opening la
No break. Cos ends up who gotta wait 30 mins for a bus? Bus cannot move stuck at road bend?
Later ppl say SBS's fault. Later PTC impose summon.
Auxiliary police say park further up, yah one lane per direction..
We've those scholars up there who dun even bother to figure out the road layout and there's buses plying.
Yep luckily 82 does nt ply here anymore, otherwise mass delay affect whole svc ranging from punggol and hougang down to serangoon itself.
tis is wad singaporean wan

might not be. sv 82 have been to Punggol Rd End for years and usually can spot one bus resting there. This could help to serve as a sign to motorists not to park there so that the buses can make a u-turn (provided they are considerate enough and got brains to think).
But sv 84 got a longer frequency and the existence of a bus service there may be hardly noticeable.

hope you don't get upset with my comments...
summon is not a popular idea. But imagine without any summon and enforcement, Singapore would become a big mess and in the end everyone living here got fed up. So how?
I have gone for tours several times and I often hear our countryfolks criticising about their hygiene (eg littering), "lawless" and messy roads, jams, people walking anyhow along the road and so do vehicles, etc etc etc. Why?
