Another reason why Daimler Benz shouldn't supply buses to SMRT anymore.
What an insult to Mercedes Benz buses and German technology!

If they can't be bothered, don't waste money to buy such good buses. Just spotted a SMRT Citaro on 852 with a broken rear lamp cover just hours back. It just tell so much what kind of maintanence is.
Mercz Benz Citaro interior are rather cheap cheap type. Both SBS Transit and SMRT did created a mess over their maintainence of Citaro. Plus, the spare parts takes time to come over.

If that is the case, then SMRTB shouldn't even buy them in the first place. Their slack maintanance adds more costs for maintanance which in turn increases their operational costs and passes this cost to the commuters. At least I know SBST don't change the rims of new buses with old buses or dirty body, which is so obvious. And the damaged plastic board in front of the seats with a string left hanging to hope to secure it show how terrible SMRTB maintanance is.
Rim changing is nt really an issue..but the damages are than the real issue of lacking of maintanance.
Both SBS6143H and SBS6147Y are registered as of today.
SMB150K and SMB155Y both to WLDEP.

I believe they will be WLDEP 922.
