Citaro. If you wanna compare, compare it with OCs. The a/c on OCs sure to be way better than them.

If i not wrong the Citaro's also having Konvektas units?

Not about a/c units, but the a/c seems stronger and cold.

both OC and Citaro have the same strong power Konvekta A/C. Its just the way the cold air is channeled to the passengers, and it just so happens that the OCs do it better.

They dont exactly have the same series of air conditioning units although both made by konvekta.
OCs uses the KL series, while the Citaro uses the P series.
You can check up the specifications on konvekta's website.
Oh, and while looking up the data for the air conditioning units, i found out something rather interesting.
Did you know that SMB136C has a less powerful aircon compared to all the production Citaros around? Notice how it's aircon unit is shorter than the other Citaros around.

it does not necessarily means that a shorter air-conditioning unit will mean lesser power produced by the unit. in fact the air-conditioning is much better on 136C than the rest of the Citaros around. this is based on personal experiences.

However the specification sheet from konvekta says otherwise, SMB136C is equipped with a P700 which is only 2.7meters long. The production Citaros are equipped with a longer version either P800 or P900 that is 50cm longer at 3.2meters. You can visibily see the difference in length. Needless to say, the power of the P800 and P900 is more than the P700.
So next time you see why the kerb along the bus bay turns black then you know is caused by which bus.

i 2nd that

I'd prefer the best of both worlds though.
- Citaro engine.
- Citaro Voith Gearbox.
- Citaro Suspension.
- KUB doors (They don't give much trouble. Citaro doors never seem to work right.)
- KUB layout sans steps (Better flow)
- KUB 'eyeball ducts' (Face it, if you can't see the vents, you can't feel the A/C.)
- KUB seats (They're suited for Asians. Sure, I'm short but I'm not a midget.)
SBS6067U's exit doors can never close in some occations. the BC has to take several attempts to get them closed.
I personally prefer the KUBs to the Citaros. I don't mind the screaming engine of the KUBs, that's the least of my concern (Besides, I like loud engines ). The air-con, in my opinion, is colder on the KUBs than the Citaros. Vibrations, Citaros score better, but still, I prefer the KUBs as somehow, I don't really care about the vibrations to be honest.
This is just my opinion.
for
i ok with both of them
but citaro look more nicer
OC Better

i think best solution out will be Citaro with OC a/c thingy... i think eyeball will look weird on Citaro...

Citaro AC is worst than Sunlong AC??

KUB/Citaro engine hot..but not really for OCs..

I think is personal preference.

i thot usually Merc engines hotter?
I still prefer Citaros over the KUBs.
Citaros:
Strenghts:
- Looks better, more rigid and better quality build
- Smoother and faster engine
- Stepless aisle
- Lower in height and thus don't take up higher spaces.
Weakness:
- Weak aircon.
- Narrow aisle at the rear
K230UBs
Strenghts:
- Better air con
- Rear aisle wider but need to climb steps
- Exterior design looks good, although not as good as the Citaros, but better than OCs.
Weakness:
- Lesser seats
- Inferior body work that vibrates and some internal parts still vibrating
- Noisy radiator noise
- Need to climb up 2 high steps to the rear part of the best, commuter unfriendly
- 1100 of them. Too much of them.
- Engine seems to be powerful but seems less torque than the Citaros.

Almost the same.
But Citaro rides are way better than the Sunlongs...
