i know npnt but......
during my trip to Batam over the weekend i spotted this ex-SBS Scania N113 in Batam. was on my way back to the hotel from Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre when this Scania bus stop beside the Toyota Coaster minibus i was in at a traffic junction.
at first i was wondering why this bus look so familiar with its rounded edges windows. then i realised this bus is ex-SBS Scania N113 from the rear wheels and the "Give way to buses" sticker at the back is still intact! LOL!
i believe there are more exported to batam.

So did you see how the rear lights look like? If it looks like our current B10Ms/Olympians/VSOs etc. , then it is a N113CRB. If it is different, it is a MK2.

yup, the rear lights are similar to our volvo single deck and double decker buses
To be frank the older buses are stronger than the current KUBs and Citaros...
...
Saw 3 CRB with modified modern front/rear at Batam too.Saw the bus stopping sign at the rear door too

looks like U31SCN...
I thought I saw some old japanese Nissan buses similar to former Tibs buses on the recent chinese documentary on channel 8 a few days ago which features the life of a Myanmar foreign worker working in Singapore. In that episode, the TV team followed this Myanmar worker back to his hometown during his vacation, and it showed the scenery along the road from Myanmar airport to his house. It only appeared at a glance the japanese buses, which looked like a Hino.
I'm very delighted to know that some Scania CRB buses still survive currently. Hope to hear more such news.

As extracted from your source: "Petra Ariesca Petra Ariesca Batam is a company which specialises in supplying workers to the industries in Batam. They provide a one-stop solution for their clients, which means that they take care of the accommodation, transport and catering needs of their workers. More information can be found on their website: http://www.petraariesca.co.id/pa/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=27 We managed to chance upon their depot on the bus ride to Hang Nadim Airport, and promptly grabbed a cab to backtrack to the depot. The company mainly operates a fleet of second hand Japanese citybuses, and they still retain the original seats, signs and even destination signs of their previous operators. BP7799UX is a Hino HT which was formerly from Kobe City Public Bus in Japan. The bus retains the original livery of Kobe Bus, and also the logo of its former operator on the front."
Cheers.
Any pictures of the Scania CRBs yet???
