Boarded 6010H a few days ago on 53 and realised that the bell was different, the bell was without the plastic (or glass) layer. One of the bells weren't working.
Noticed that too. The modified ones seems better in preventing ppl pressing it unintentionally.
Old version(feat. SBS6000L on 28) :
NEW(feat. SBS604XX on 16) :
just like SMRT Citaros

Old version not very good. Very easy to knock onto it.
If you have noticed, the old design is a trial. This new one seems to be hidden under the old design.
Seems that SBST is trialing the different design but hiding it under the original one. Clever design...

Lol. You mean the old(SBS6000L pic) one is additional cover to cover up the new(SBS604XX pic) one??

Its not hidden, the bells have indeed been replaced.
The additional yellow layer behind the original bells is just a spacer so that the bell fits into the thinner poles of the citaro.
And if anyone are wondering, the citaro poles are thinner than those used on kubs, this is why the spacer is needed for installing the bells.
SBS6057Z (AMDEP 125) have them as well.
almost all the Cheat-Taro have new bells.

I see then.
So now which of the buses have changed the bells???
Does the recent newly registered SBST Citaros comes with the modified designed bells or the initial designed bells???
