New Clementi Bus Interchange

  Well, it is long overdue. CLE folks have endured this living disgrace since 1980. Even EUN, with so few routes there, has a proper bus station with a proper shelter and office. If the local MP (Bernard Chen, now Arthur Fong) had pushed hard enough, maybe we'd have had our bus station upgraded sooner.

  The thing with CLE is that everything good that happens is often too little too late.

  It long overdue indeed because the project is completed 6 months late because when construction,they got an error so yeah this is the only news i know.

  I guess that 173 may not call at the new interchange although it does not use any parking lots. It can just do something like service 78 & 184 ie. loop around Clementi town and still call at the MRT station.

  It will call at the new interchange but not terminating there.

  from newspaper report, it mention that the interchange will open END OF NEXT YEAR? they build and open shopping centre very fast... they build and open bus interchange so slow?

  173 always looped @ CLE ever since it superceded 205.

  172 is using BNL for shift change, mealbreak, etc.

  1 trunk, 1 feeder.. It can be kept.

  285 plies into Pandan Loop which 78 has no chance of covering.

  I doubt 1 of the office will be jus like the temp int, will be unuse since SMRT 173 don terminate there?

  perhaps its betta to let 184 terminate/loop @ clementi as well
