Wondering if it would get citaros? Or KUBs?
Dennis Dart?
Seriously if more of such routes begin to appear, midi sounds a good choice
should be either MK3 or MK4
wat about service 81? will it get citaros too?
if i told you O405s and Citaros will you believe me?
i believe it might take one bus from 82.
i wonder how will the fleet and frequency for 84 will be like. i believe their fleet size might be 1-2 buses only.

agree
and i think the freq is 15-20 mins ? maybe weekends is shorter waiting time
84 was a bad idea anyway. it doesnt connect to a lot of other services and also serves a very limited area... think they should have started it from sengkang instead but then again may not have enough berths there...
2 buses would be sufficient.
I got the feeling that 1 of the buses will be cut from service 82 and become service 84 perm. Not sure if service 105 will get fleet cut too.
Service 84 most likely operate with 1 bus at a frequency of 20-30 mins.
SBST should have introduced this service as a feeder and charge feeder fares instead.
It is just like the case of service 882 from Sembawang side.
Get Superbuses, like the old old 84.
Or 1688K like the old short lived 84 which was also in Punggol.
This incarnation really just needs 1 bus like 11.

distance from punggol interchange to punggol road end is around 2.8km... still within the 1st band.... i dun think anyone will pay more than the feeder fare on this service... unless someone go and joyride the entire route....
Don't quite get the rationale behind choping the svc into 2.

you want 82 to double loop like NUS Sv D har?
Sv D is super confusing. And I wasn't the only one who thought so.
Some freshie went "OMG WE TOOK THE WRONG D" when the bus headed to arts instead of Science.

so that it can turn from a S'goon to Punggol (loop) service into a Punggol to S'goon (loop) service.
thanks to this small 18 parking bay integrated public transport hub

Meaning 2 buses for every service. And 2 spare parking lots...

the 2 spare likely to be taken up by 100 & 105.
I think SV 84 will get its perm buses from SV 82 with the fleet of two. Together with a fleet cut of 2 buses from SV 82 perhaps. Due to a Loop service and increase in freq.
Most likely i think SV 84 will be like 882, one bus reaching PGL int, another out. Around 15-18 min freq. or mayb lesser.
Should be only 1 bus running during weekdays and 1 bus cover during mealbreaks,Weekends should have 2 buses.882 different cases,Pass by school, houses etc

Yup i agree with u. Very hard to connect to Punggol Rd end. Punggol promenade is nr completion yet the transport coverage deteoriates. I thot 84 should at least start from Sengkang via Compassvale Rd and Compassvale Dr.
Anw its all due to the mini bus interchanges built these days (
