Well not exactly, after Serangoon Road is realigned, services like 13, 133, 147 and 853 would return to stopping at that bus stop.

That bus stop was not even meant for 133, 147 in the first place.
81, 82, 103, 147 of 1980s or 1990s era never used that bus stop at all.
Woah
the impression pic got O405

Hmm, interesting. I always had the impression that the services going towards P. Pasir stops at that bus stop. Thanks for correcting.
But would the services now stop there since there's no longer a need to filter out?

Nope
This bus stops was from the staggered bus stops era as like CBD area.
Its a great thing that it has changed, i am sure as you can see when Svcs like 8, 151,154 which are heading towards TPY side and other svc that are heading straight at the Woodville junction currently always kenna at the traffic light cos of slow traffic, and esp 8, 151, 154 is really horrible as you need to wait den still need to change lane and make a big u-turn and end up having the subsequent bus of each svc catching up at them causing pile-up..

Yeah thats why.At 1st when i saw it,i thought that i had saw a MK3 or what. Then i checked closer agn and it was indeed an O405!!Haha.
i dont rule out that possibility. the 4 pairs of bus stops has quite a good catchment. If skip all it will affect the revenue for 966. unless they put a bus lane that goes straight thru... and if use whampoa east, hope skip all the bus stops along there...Originally posted by jayh272416:cant possibly go until whampoa east right lol

But minus point might be heavy traffic/traffic jam during evening peak hours. If the situation is bad, it might take 4-5 traffic light rounds before the bus can continue along Serangoon Road.
and the bus lane isnt helping either..Originally posted by gorby107:
