[Hong Kong] Alexander Dennis Enviro 200

This is ENVIRO 200 fitted with DART chassis . The exterior is so attractive. I have been on board for ENVIRO 200 for twice times. EVNIRO 200 are so amazing . The sound of engine like ENVIRO 500/ TRIDENT . They can run very stable in high speed. The suspension are so soft .They are much better than old DART.

It's not that of narrow roadsSome svs dun even have e load to justify 12m buses like 40, 42, 82, 103, 400, 403.

hk as usual i am not surprised at all..and especially kmb.They ALWAYS buy all the very attractive looking buses..Cant beat them at all.To me hk is the country that can compete with the European countries in terms of the most beautiful and attractive buses.

But their seats is fabric sooner will collect more dust in our climate..I feel that PVC is good enough for SG.Enviro 200 also got 10.5 and 12m too right?The 10.5 is suitable for low demand svc

sbst orders scanias because they are cheap, and don't really give a shit about passenger comfort.
unless of course, they have been progressively replacing the euro iv brakes with euro v ones.

K230UB vibration is due to LTA compliance 60kmh limiter.Maintenance and tuning is another.I witness and hear how KUB struggling at highways with noise and vibration all over.Actually the buses should be better if lock at 65kmh rather than 60.I feel that the K230s are better with Voith transmission.ZF aint suitable for them.

Yeah true also.Fabric also not very good..Collects too much dust.At least SMRT did a good job by changing all of them to the PVC seats..
The PVC seats also is not that bad.Its still equally comfortable as the fabric seats. -
I feel SBST should buy some of this buses..Especially the 10.5m ones.Like carbikebus mentioned above,some of this buses would be good for those low demand svcs and those svcs which only have high demands at certain parts of the days and not all the time..

In Hong Kong , KMB's K230UB are fitted with European bodywork . I think they are better than the Singapore SBS 's K203UB with fitted European bodywork.I don't why SBS K230UB are fitted Malaysian bodwork. I know the quality of Malaysian bodywork are really poor beacuse there are so many MAN A 91/A51 with MTRANS MM10 bodywork in our Hong Kong . I always on board MTRANS MM10 bodywork coach when I travel to China from Hong Kong . On the ohter hands , Scania K230UB are not good chassis .They are so noisy when they are in motion .Their suspension are so poor .But Scania N series are much better than K series . I am so pleased that KMB ordered ENVIRO 200S from Alexander Dennis .At least , the suspension of the Aleander Dennis Darts are much better than K230UB now. -

Actually those are PVC seats covers, not fabric. The material is however thicker than the ones we have on our vogelsitzes.
