Other Batch IIIs joined the growing DD fleet as well....like 9630, 9632, 9638, 9642.
88 is still one of my favourite service....frequency is good, the buses maintained well, and its one of the faster trunk routes.
Contrast that to 72 and you'll see why I stopped taking 72 after the mid 2000s. Poor night-time frequency, and slow driving simply makes my travel time longer than necessary. And for some reason, any bus that goes to 72 simply falls to pieces soon after.....I don't know why. Maybe cos Tampines Rd is a little dusty?
My fave DD 9580J went to the dogs the
moment it went to 72 from 88. Eh... i took the plug door 2754X on sv88, so happy dinnoe who to tell coz last time no SGforums... hehehe there was 2753 - 2757 for 88!?! wen TPY to collect bus tickets...
Damn piss when my sv196 9580J, 9581G went to 88, v v good buses
72 HAIZ... 别�了。。。
Waited long at TAM, when alighted opp HG CC, 2 mins later, 2nd bus came...
BCs with Tour bus mentality

Should kop bus from 31 to S for 72, coz 31 have plenty of empty buses runnin in morning... 5 mins a bus bet 0645 - 0715 hrs twds TPY along Marine Parade Rd... -

1. Have all citaros REMOVED from sv16 and put in ALL JB MKIIIs
2. upgrade 1st 2 buses of sv196e to DDs so that i would not get squashed
3. change sv36 fleet to partial Scanias[not Citaros] and MKIIIs
4. Remove the 4 Scanias from 147 n put one of them to 163 so that the 163 DD go to 147
5. CUT 113 fleet to 5 buses n improve freq for sv62 for OFF PEAK
6. 113 fleet to be downgraded to Scania batch 2 Euro IV to have more standing space so that there will be no more complaints/requests to upgrade 113 to DD fleet due to capacity issues.
That should be my wishlist...

Add on since sv16 ve citaros running, damn suey, everything want to board, cannot coz bus capacity is small...
Thursday night after 2130hrs wait for 15mins, 2 silly citaros come, 1st bus standing room, 2nd bus 1 seat left... SIANZ
if MKIIIs sure no problem n can board 1st bus go home... -
16's reliability is pretty poor...

Please lah... give yr country a better impression to tourists can(especially those in wheelchairs)? u know lots of tourists take 36 to the city once they leave the airport to either their hotels or the tourist attractions what... i would rather you ask MKIII to 34 and return SBS8616Y/SBS8629K to 109/163 respectively.

they will think punggol old, that's all.SO?! Punggol deserves to be criticised if Sengkang, which is oso a new town,is oso criticised being old and down, which is what those staying in other heartlands are doing now . kids at punggol too spoiled liao...
