Serangoon Bus Interchange opens 3rd September (Sat)

Sv 103 to call at a new bus stop 62189 along Upp S'goon Rd towards city between Aft Paya Lebar Camp and S'goon Stn.

Services 81 and 82 likely to call at 2 additional bus stops at Serangoon MRT along Upp Serangoon Road. The route along Serangoon Central likely to be deleted.
Service 100 likely to turn straight into Serangoon Ave 2 from Upp Serangoon Road.
Service 105 might end up using Serangoon Ave 2 and straight to Serangoon Ave 3. The bus stops along Serangoon Central, Boundary Road and Serangoon Ave 2 (Blk 319/239) are likely to be deleted.
Any idea what will the old Serangoon int become in future. Perhaps convert into a new Park and Ride open space carpark just like Kovan Hub (former Hougang South int)?

Those services that terminate at Serangoon Bus Interchange and are turning right into Serangoon Central from Upp Serangoon Road currently will most probably use the new bus stop (think only 4 services?).
Likely that other pass-thru services will not be calling at the new bus stop.

no lah it's just an additional bus stop connecting 62139 & 62149.

Lor Liew Lian has the original bus stop, S'goon MRT has its own
This one is meant for buses turning right to S'goon Ave 2 for easier turn. Cannot be got new bus stop, every single bus straight or turning starts using it.

Actually Sgoon MRT (Upp Sgoon Road) got another spare bus stop right?
Can move 107/107M, 147, 153 & 853 to the 2nd bus stop...
45, 58, 81, 82, 101, 103, 158, 317 can call at the current bus stop...

The extension of Sv 109 did not increase the running time for both directions it seems, when it's supposed to be 2-3 mins towards Changi Village and 2-4 mins towards Serangoon.

didnt notice the new bus stop until i went to buy ciggs just now. It is already up but it is very close to the filter lane for traffic turning left into serangoon central. quite skeptical about the traffic arrangement.

and also wonder if there are provisions for a sheltered walkway connection to the MRT exit?

81-Not parking at Serangoon Int anymore, just looping
105-Sector along Boundary Road and Serangoon Ave 3 cut, turn left (same direction as 58)
109-Going into Boundary Road first before turning into YCK Link (like 156)
315-Goes past Upp Serangoon Rd before turning into Serangoon Central and then its normal route
103,317-Calls at additional bus stop, goes into Upp Serangoon Road and then turns into Boundary Road and then its normal route
158-Turns into Upp Serangoon Rd, then Serangoon Ave 1 and its normal route
101-Goes into Upp Serangoon Rd and then its normal route
100-Turns into Upp Serangoon Rd and then its normal route
When the new Serangoon Int opens, there will be only 8 services servicing at Serangoon Int. Heard that there is a Bc cafeteria inside the Int.

The rest looks fine but I have doubts abt 315... It will have to deploy a few more buses... Load seems very good (morning & evening peak) but then at night almost empty...
