The day has come, DM3500 replacing the MKIII. 2748 spotted on 160 with rect desto

The rect desto uses the usual orange SBST desto plate format. Looks like it's only the Maybank ads left on 160 as far as MKIII are concerned. The remaining MKIII has been spotted being dumped onto 506.

Hope the distinctive 170's Green & White plate will be retained.

it could be a temp deployment switch for the mk3s, until more hamtaros are available to take over.

There are only 20 buses allocated to 160. And only 3 Mk3 remain so see if you can spot 20 diff DM3500s on 160 or only 17. On normal days only 13 buses run on 160 - means 7 spares.

no more G/W plate for 160, it's using the typical orange background plates.

the difference between SV 160 and SV 170 is that 170 goes to Larkin and 160 doesn't. hence, 160 can get the DM3500 first as those for SV 170 nid to get permit to enter Larkin Terminal. and from what it seems, all buses that goes to Larkin require permits...

Me too.. If you see my Shutterfly albums at the MKIII's section @ http://smb92u.shutterfly.com/sbstransit/85 , im now constantly updating it. These few weeks ill try to fit in any spare time of mine to clear the MKIIIs @ Kranji MRT junction I dont give a damn whether the quality of the pic is nice or not ; as long as can see the rego and "my requirements" , then can aready :D

Anyways, for those who have a digicam, try to clear the MKIIIs as soon as possible (i have 112 pics now ) . its fun anyway! :D

Yeah true.I also dun care abt the quality of the pic..As long as i can see a picture of the bus,i will be more than happy.And those 2 pics of those MK3s u posted above looked really good to me..

the MKIII shares so many similar aspects with the other DM bodies that I think I can photoshop out a mosaic of all the other types, link them properly, and fool everyone into thinking its really a MKIII.
