Seeing the comments isn't going anywhere. Everyone missed the point that infrastructure must be proper before bigger double decks can appear.
I'll list some hazard locations.
1) PIE > Jln Anak Bukit slip road: 1x tree too low, too near.
2) Hillview Ave: Center divider trees, on top of KTM bridge
3) Dunearn Rd: Classical one, impeding 66 & 67 to use DDs.
4) Woodlands Rd: Trees again, near Sg Kadut
5) Henderson Rd (Telok Blangah)
6) Depot Rd (Trees)
Stevens Road

Heard Sixth Ave was one of the affected roads, is it true?
Cheers.
Tree can be pruned or replaced by taller and shadier trees. This is flexible.
So I can only think of 2 areas, flyover over Lorong Chuan, and Changi Airport due to poor planning...

NEA don't deal with trees.
And besides that, trees along certain roads like Henderson are conserved trees, so you can't cut them or their branches away unless they pose an immediate danger to the public.
my bad, then trees should come under SLA ba.
Hmm quite a handful belong to SMRT territories,One reason why they use bendies

NParks
That said, conservation of trees can't be in the pace of usage of double decker buses. It's not nice to put it, but older trees seems to be getting harder and harder to be maintained i.e. termites
