SBST services with 2 directional signs

  i find it unnecessary for sbs to display "2 directional sign for bues with EDS mode.

  currently svc using the sign21, 60, 73, 124, 125, 131, 136, 155, 186, 315, 317.

  n the exclude svc 170 for 2 directional sign(woodlands ctr rd) is it due to JB issue???

  some ppl dun see word, they see colour plate

  weird but it seems 98 does not have front colour plate as yet.

  LOL. 170 very confusing.. 170(Queen St - Larkin) & 170 (Kranji MRT- Kotaraya 2)

  shld use 160M or 170A for short routes =X.. or 160A/170A follow JB format. haha

  n wonder y 98 & 139 haven imprement yet... n dun think SMRT got such routes system oso..

  Very simple

  There's only 170 Red plate plying Woodlands Centre & Larkin, blue plate bypassing Woodlands Centre & terminating at either Larkin or Kota Raya.

  The latter part only applies when bus arrives JB CIQ, but I believe as 170 full route's reliability is getting better, lesser of such 'crossover' is seen

  As for SMRT actually there is. 173, 177, 300 & 859

  u mean 173 for hillview ave area? 173 don stop the same bus stop in both directions. same as svc 300.

  859 where got? sbw nv stop @ same bus stop despite serve same rd..

  177.. dun think SMRT will imprement since they rely too much on EDS

  dun stop, but colour plate at least let first timers know.

  859 at Sembawang Vista?? But this one is more of EDS displaying 'Sembawang'.

  Some elderly people don't understand English, so they only recognise by the colors, especially since they are so familiar with for so many years.

  days back 1 old couple who just cleared WTCP after taking a train asked how to get to Kranji...

  Had to use colour plate to tell them, else how to explain to them??
