80% of commuters board 115 to alight at blk 105 market/fc, it is half of the svc 113A route, svc 113 is out of the electronic bus guide? there was a cancellation of svc 115 back in 2008.. -

321 was the road from kovan bus interchange to hougang st 11 (half of svc 113) road -

well they deployed many buses to svc 112 instead of svc 113. -
if i am travelling to st 92 i'd rather take 72 or 101.. instead of looping for 45 mins.. for svc 113 is diff, i'd rather they deploy more buses to 113.

isn't 112's route longer?Furthermore 113's profile has changed, it used to carry most of the load for Paya Lebar ward.
Now there's 45 & 53 via S'goon if we're talking abt NEL.

if i am travelling to st 92 i'd rather take 72 or 101.. instead of looping for 45 mins.. for svc 113 is diff, i'd rather they deploy more buses to 113.

well because i think svc 163 dosent need DDs, and for sbst275, he thinks 163 only needs 1-2 during peak hours, but SBST seems to be giving more DDs to svc 163? it's totally empty during off peak, and for svc 74, svc74 srsly need more DDs.

You want 113 double deck? ask chen shao mao to write letter. not strong enough? ask low thia kiang to do it. Why 115 was born, why 84 (short one not the old one) was born, why 116 was born, why 119 and 136 had/has double decks are all for the same reason.
and a word of caution do not be too persistent in your cause that logically doesnt make good economic sense, it will not be good for you. You may read all the old threads if you dont believe me. If you still feel that it makes sense to you, please provide raw and technical data to convince us. Do a survey of the bus service, especially at the choke points, and do it during school term time. Next week doesnt count.
and if 113 gets double deck then I think Josephine Teo is sleeping with regards for 238. -

Cancelled but spared at last minute. -
163 frequency should be improved... ie no need to deploy DDs...
Real waste of resources...
Passengers on sv113's route can actually do transfers and walk...

For me, I personally feel that 163 should have at least 4 perm DDs only for weekday S-shifts. Whereas full day and E-shifts continue to stick to the SDs. For weekends it will run as full SD fleet as usual.

If I remember correctly service 113 used to have 8 buses but was reduced to 7 for whatever reasons.
