Double deckers on Sv 163

  163 doesnt need DDs....what it needs is better frequency.

  As with many services.

  Of course there's probably other constraints such as number of BCs etc...in that sense, SBST is at least able to do smth about it.

  Unlike SMRT.

  A supp trip from 83 would sound just right.. get the split shift fella to run 83A to sengkang, or off service from punggol to sengkang and do 163 1 round trip before going off service.
  
  Its the only service I can think of that is able to spare 1 bus in the area.. 27 is another option.. like that no need DD on 163...

  27 ??? Don't have to think about it. Is all due to the airport terminal height ans space constraint

  What service_238 meant was crossover from 27, not 27 to get DD.

  I totally agree. i'd rather SBST deploys the DDs to other services who needs it. one of the examples are Svc 113/Svc 113A

  if you notice during the peak hours, commuters boarding the train, if a train arrives in 2-3 minutes, commuters will crowd the whole bus stop. there was one time, iris stated svc 113 to arrive in 19 minutes, therefore, 6 trains have arrived the station. When the bus departed the station, there are still passengers left at the bus stop. Example : hougang st 21 food fc? if it's 30-40 minute frequency, i'd rather walk to kovan.

  Then can ppl along the way board the bus?

  If ppl can still board, then I'll put it this way, take a look at other routes like 52 or 154 at Sunset Way.. hardly can board in the morning
