Currently, it is very inconvenient especially to seniors who needs to travel to the above destinations for there is no direct access.
And buses that is able make use of the express highway to branch out to access direct Bt Batok, Tuas Custom, Woodland Custom, Railway station, Chinatown and the various Polytechnics and Unversities to avoid 'jamming' the mrt as well as the changings of trains and buses. We believe this will help to ease some way on the heavy human traffic of MRT too.
There's Boon Lay Int.
if everything is so direct, you might as well not survive.
There's bus 99.

one issue I found out is always because ppl dun want to make full use of double deck
all crowd at lower deck, end up door cannot close. but gotta stop for very long at subsequent bus stop
Singaporeans are complainers and inefficient makers

but the frequency of bus 99 is kind of bad on weekends, and there is alot of market goers.. plus ppl naturally wont want to carry their trolleys to the upper deck.
well actually there is no wet market all the way from ntu down to the area TS states above. the nearest available is boonlay market or st 51.. so its kind of expected and natural occurence to the ppl living in this estate that the bus is difficult to board.

you see
when ppl aren't civic minded onto taking the bus, bus co also wun bother unless MP really go lobby... Esp for 99 it's possible being a neighbourhood bus route.
But everyone dun appericiate the double decks' potential capacity, who's going to bother? There's other bus svs tat would get priority in improvement.

Many times I also experienced it..
If it's students I'll raise my voice and indicate the empty upper deck. So young cannot climb?
Ok
To 505 market there's 99.
To Woodlands CIQ there's 180 > 160 connection.
Taman Jurong there's Sv 30 at Boon Lay Int.
Bt Batok there's 174.
In the first place, I'd rather feeder & trunk sv network.
