That's a LO2x, the O305 has a large hub-reduction rear axle similar to the ones found on O405. This is non existent on the *scape bus.

I miss these quiet and smooth double deckers, which just left us 10 years back.
Yeah very powerful buses!! :'((
I wont call them quiet.....quiet would be like the VO2X.
I lived next to the road where 0305s used to ply and it could be a little noisy...like the 0405s
They're pretty noisy
but powerful
I'm being sensitive to the feelings of those who like the bus....
In actual fact the 0305 is VERY noisy. Especially those with the TICK TOCK TICK TOCK sounds.
And when I thought that noisy DDs were history....within 2-3 years came the VSO.
And when I got used to it....came the B9TL whose roar I doubt can be surpassed.
But the 0305s had plenty of seats and was pretty torquey....but I I still like the VO2X better.

I 100% agree with this two sentences..The VSO at least still can accept. But the B9TL's roar like u say,is really untouchable for now i think..

They do not occupy any areas in the back for engines and so can go all the way to the back. And they can carry more than 100 people, the highest for all NAC double deckers. Leyland Atlanteans, Olympians 2xles and Volvo Olympian 2 axles all carry less than 100 people.
