well, you may not have realised why Blk 270 bus stop is packed during AM peak. There's some transport travelling pattern profiling

You will be surprised to know there can be up to 80 - 100 people waiting at the bus stop during peak hour at any one time.
Even the Bukit Panjang MP stood at the bus stop to shake hands during elections period in the Morning Peak Hour.
Bukit Batok West, Choa Chu Kang residents do wait at these bus stops to transfer to Yishun, Orchard, Marina Centre, Bugis.

If so, then it should be upgraded for the sake of the crowd. Maybe the old Harbourfront with a few mama shop type of bus stop will be good. The commuters can buy food to work or for dinner.
Already been upgraded. Its the length of 3 bus stops.

If it is packed with people, then I think it should be really be upgraded. If it is packed with bendy buses, then SMRT should consider using double deckers in future, and not upgraded for the sake of more queues of bendy buses. Not only it disrupts traffic and messy but also residents near the bus stop may not like a bigger and longer one which can be noiser as well.
It's the last bus stop before buses head to CBD or other new towns.
It's connected to Pending or Bangkit station.
It's near to any bus stop tat 920 & 922 uses.
Does it sound a ring?
C'wealth Ave West (Clementi Bus Int/ MRT, towards Jurong) is suspected to be in the list.

Well, that was taken on a sunday at 4pm. There's already 6 sd waiting infront of my 185, and i've no idea what's at the back. This could very much be worse during evening peak w/ additional trips of 154.
The very least they could do is to remove the railings before the bus stop, its really redundant. Only 2 buses able to stop at once currently.

railing is not for itchy leg ppl to go jaywalk.
the car park entrance is there, taxi stand is there & there's proper walkway at HDB flat void deck

If they wanted to prevent ppl from jaywalking, why not put the railing at the center divider as many places has done so?
I dont think its a smart move to place railings to stop ppl from jaywalking because of the railings that only allow 2 buses to stop at once. They might have prevent ppl from jaywalking, but decreased the efficiency of the bus stop and the services plying thru the stop significantly.
Another way to say it is, everyone taking the bus thru clementi mrt stop has to waste 5 minutes everyday because of the handful of jaywalkers.

There's alrdy proper and it's covered someone linkway via the bakery tat side.
Sometimes they've to place e railing w/ some consideration factor i.e. human traffic flow.

Yea, i know theres a proper covered linkway, thats why i dont see a point why they built such a long railing in the first place. Looking back at the old clementi stop, 5 buses can easily drop off at the same time. Now its not even possible.
